Flippin hell, what is wrong with you people?

This is the one thing I friggin hate about the AGS community, just because someone who happens to have been around shorter than you have, doesn't mean you have every right in the world to go and rip on them for every bit of idea they try and conribute...

I think what he wants is for the player to type something in and it displayed as speech.

I'd also like to know how to get the player to say something if the player says "say door" kinda thing, then I will have the player say door.

You don't need to set your music as a sound effect?

Play it with the Play music on room load: []

And check it and type in what music you want to play. AGS will carry on playing the music when you step into another room, unless there is a different file set to play in that room.
