AS i was going to say, this room is only showed throughout the ENTIRE game for only about 15 seconds...so I'm not too worried about it.

It is already pretty dark compared to my other BG's, and I don't think I intend on making it darker...

I'm not going to bring the wood texture back...I like it this way...

The door I might fix, as I already animated it...It would be hell to start over...

The lightsource is the door, as it opens within the first 2 seconds  of entering the room. All shadows are made according to that. I purposly made no light fixture...

So as I said I'm not too worried about this room....Thanks haddis and Damien...

Right, so I was wondering if it was possible to create something like this:



I hope it's pretty self explanatory...but if not:

Using Sierra-style speech, Where you would usually see the player character talking I want a pair of lips to be shown so that you can distinguish between the thoughts and the speech, and I also want his taling anim to be shown like in lUcas arts style speech...

Is this possible?

Inventory

So I have another problem: (I know, this is more of a beginners techinical question, but I didn't want to waste two topics....) So I have this inventory placement problem, I set my inventory two 32x96 pixels wide and high...Because each of my inventory graphics are 32x32 pixeld high and wide...So that means my Inventory window thingy should be able to diplsay 3 inventory items at one time. The problem is it don't! It displays 2 inventory items, leaving a little space inbetween them...I don't want that little space....I want the together?

Do anyone know the answer? Hm?

I'm sure Mappomedia was fixed...That was probaly DG logging in and out etc...oh yeah, and that CEO guy was definately DG....definately....

This background is clearly 10000x better than the bedroom...

The only thing that bugs me is the tree, it looks a wee bit too flat...yep yep yep....

I hope it's pretty self explanatory, I left the face for you to figure out...

Here's what's wrong with it:

1. His hair is spaz....
2. The shading is all wrong....
3. It's still far from a finished product....

I haven't read the othre topics, so forgive me if I'm repeating...

1. That door looks a little too small.
2. I don't like the texture on the bed.
3. Everything in the room is lined up against one wall, but then again, it is a very narrow room, and you wouldn't be able to fit anything on the other walls....

Good job, keep up the good work! (I feel like a 1st grade teacher when I say that...)

Try the ACR thread in the adventure-related talk and chat forum...(i think)

And try to include some of your works, so we can help you improve.

Just carry on drawing, open M$paint and draw the basic shape of a body, and color it and stuff. Then redraw it, and fix it up. Redraw it again, and until you're happy with it!
