Me? I've never been good at anything in my entire life. I've never one a single award, never had anyone say "Hey, well done!". Believe me, it gets me down sometimes.
But then I found AGS, and although I wasn't that good at it, it still gave me pleasure. I found I really enjoyed making adventure games. The only thing is my parents. They hate me on the computer. The say it effects my grades. The don't know that's the only thing that keeps me driven in my life. I wouldn't even have any grades if I wasn't making games. There would be nothing to make me happy. All my friends look down on adventure games, as if they're the scum of the gaming world. If I ever do excel at anything, just win one award, or have someone say well done to me, just so people, my parents, my friends and my teachers will know I am not a failure. I don't want to be a failure, no-one ever asks to be a failure. I'll just have to go back to living my life in  the one direction it flows, just like a river: Take things as they come at you. I will never stop trying to be someone, someone with a claim to fame. Ir will happen one day I tell you, One day I will bw someone great.

So you might like a reference archive. I think this could be a pretty good idea!

You want to draw a jungle scene, but know what to add in to it. You go to the reference archive, search "Jugle BG" and woila! You can get a few ideas...learn from everyone else!

No, my d/l did not die a virgin. I tried numorous amounts of times, but the zip and the pdf is corrupt. I really wanted to see this issue. This is causing me serious psychological problems you know. I fall asleep to the sound of my own screams, (rips at his face) DO YOU THINK I'M UNHAPPY? (turns around and joins the goth kids. Writes a bit of poetry to explain just how sad and cruel corrupt zip files are. The goth kids call him faggy and chuck him out.)...Woah, i got a weeny bit carried away there...

I gather you're a N00b, so I'm gonna explain how it works here at AGS:

None of us use other people's backgrounds and sprites, unless it's a joke or a test game. We all make our own sprites, even if we're not that good, as it adds originality and ups the standard of our game.

The only time we'll use other beegees is when we're in a team game etc.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd go with the 2nd one, it gives a more retro-action move kinda style, or a spacey Star-Trek kinda thing...er, JUST GO WIT #2, ALREADY!!111!!1, hehe

Is this one of those backgrounds you're using to make that Harvest Moon game? If so than I think you should those othe beegees in perspective as well.
Apart from that I like your style alot. You have great potential, and will be a great artist one day.
There's just bits of lighting and shading that are off, but they were all fixed in M0ds edit.
Overall I like this background and am looking forward to playing game when done!

Candle, I think Kaaz's was just an example, you shouldn't use it as his mouth was drawn at a different resolution. Can you please posta smaller version, so that more people can do edits.
