Looking better, though I'd like to add that since you've drawn in the depth for the cave, it puts the plank bridge slighly out of perspective ;)

I don't know Studio3, all a troll has to do in order to not be a troll is just follow the advice people give him. All everyone's trying to do is just help you, and I mean so far all I've seen is people giving you pretty good advice.
Quote from: Studio3 on Wed 20/04/2011 10:46:59I only been here 3 years.

Not really "only 3 years", 3 years is quite a long time to be here. It takes less than 3 years to learn the how a community interacts with itself (in this case, AGS) and how to fit in.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

I've been thinking and I like the idea of going to New York for a while. Not to settle down, but maybe stay there for a few years. If I ever wantr to settle down, Canada is sounding quite attractive :D

It would be awesome to visit Greenwich Village, where Bob Dylan and a whole bunch of other famous people got their start.

The name of Flukeblake comes to mind, and, to a much lesser extent, TerribleVenerealDisease (whose real screenname I can't remember at the moment!).

Was just about to point that out. Trolls sometimes can be reformed - I mean hell, I was 13 when I joined these forums and I remember the first year or so of my posts being extremely trollworthy haha. I just cringe when I think of it  :-X
I think Flukeblake was also pretty young when he was a 'troll', so in order for a troll to be reformed they probably just have to grow up a little.

Haha who remembers that guy who made that game about the sword who walked around? I remember him posting this car he drew in CL with square wheels :o A few others spring to mind as well, like LJUBI - The schizophrenic troll :D

How the hell does every thread you make bring me to hysterical tears icey? It must a gift. This topic is hilarious! (or I'm just very sleep deprived, which is entirely possible ;))

I mean because you totally don't have to open a new tab to browse regular facebook and AGS facebook. :P

I'm sorry, but I don't really see how this makes anything faster? You still need at least two tabs open, and since when was moving the cursor to the top of the screen and clicking a new tab inconvenient at all?

Edit: It also seems to be a few minutes out of date?

To be honest it's not that where I live is a bad place - Cape Town is beautiful and if I weren't here already I'd probably want to be here. I just need to make a fresh start somewhere, live my own life you know - Just get away from everything familiar. I'm the kind of guy who can't settle down and do the same thing all the time. I like my scene to change, new environments, new people etc.
The thing about Cape Town is everyone pretty much knows everyone else. You could play the 2 degrees of Cape Town haha :D

So I need to spread my eagle wings and soar. I have a decent amount of money saved up to get me started once I get wherever I'm going. I just know that if I stay in this damn city any longer I'll probably an hero (kidding :D).

I need to taste a new culture and interact with different people if you know what I mean!

General Discussion / Best place to elope?

So I'm wanting to elope. By myself :D

Haha but seriously I want to emmigrate to some other country. Been wanting to do this for ages, so I was just wondering if you guys could help me out.
I'm looking for someplace preferably western, where they speak English. I'm thinking either America, Britain or Canada or something, but I need advice on the best states/cities etc. A warm climate would also be a plus!

Thanks!

Btw, I'm from Cape Town, South Africa if anyone's interested.

Love it! Looks awesome.

I'm a sucker for AGI and SCI. Especially AGI :D 160x200 is like the best resolution ever! haha.

Just watched it.

It was ok. A good homage to the 80s exploitation films, but don't go in expecting anything more. It's pretty much what the title suggests :P

IMO Machete was a lot better!

Well, irrelevant of how bad the films, it's still a succesful business venture. So props to the guys at The Asylum.

QuoteThe Asylum's usual budget for a production is reportedly "well under a million dollars", and it typically breaks even after about three months. and have never lost money on a film.

They also have a religious subcompany called "Faith Films," which produces films with a positive christian message.

Lol.

Umm... I was playing a bit of Survival now when I woke up, and I er... may have screwed things up a bit. I was fighting that skelly spawner, and for some reason there was a creeper in the dungeon, which then proceeded to self-destruct, thereby killing the skelly spawner.
I know how important bonemeal is to Survival Island, so maybe you'd like to reset the map?

Sorry :(
