For a character's height, get their current Viewframe*, then use Game.SpriteHeight[Viewframe.Graphic].

You might have to multiply it by Room.GetScalingAt(x,y)/100 for it work with scaling.

Quote from: Adeel S. Ahmed on Fri 12/07/2013 16:47:55BTW, Hitman is very nice game. But now-a-days, hardcore gamers are waiting for GTA V.

I'm not even a gamer (apart from AGS and adventure games), but GTA V looks pretty damn cool.

This is actually a really nice template. I can see it becoming quite popular - It should probably be bundled with AGS after some more testing if no bugs are found.

Good work.

I haven't looked at this template yet, but it was just released and should do what you need.

This look very exciting!

I believe this is already available, with coroutines and such as Calin has said.

Quote from: Baron on Wed 10/07/2013 05:33:32DYNAMIC ROOMS: Why just five backgrounds?  Why?  Being able to have more backgrounds per room, or even better being able to dynamically change light levels on the background (e.g. night time) would hugely speed things up.

I believe Crimson has just done this with the alpha version of 3.4. Check the Editor development forum.

I think a great feature would be to have characters that are made up of different parts. Like in the SCUMM engine, most characters were made up of their heads and their bodies, allowing an easy way to have the character walk AND talk at the same time.

Hi Slasher, you have a typo in your first screenshot! It should read, "In space, no one can feel your loneliness..."

Ah I must have somehow just missed looking at the plant.

Anyway, I really liked the soundtrack, the piano music was really nice.

Spoiler
One more thing; the hotspot for the parcel was also called 'letters', as well as the 'letters' surrounding it which made it really easy to miss.

Whoa the ending took me by surprise. Nice game, though a fullscreen option would be great, as the window almost clipped my monitor. (Yes, I still have an old school 4:3 monitor :D).

Spoiler
The safe puzzle was really unfair though, I only knew their ages because of MiteWiseacreLives' comment. The only information I could gleam through the game was that I was two years older than Jenny.

Anyway, I'm excited to see what else comes from this engine.

Nice idea. Why is the file a .0 extension and not a .scm? Also, there's a typo in 'int GetSlot', you wrote 'mabient' instead of 'ambient'. And ambient is spelled with an 'e', not an 'a' :D

Have you collected the heart balloon filled with cow farts? (You learn the cow farts are super lightweight.)

Spoiler
Have you collected the liquid gold from the birch tree? (You need a jug to collect it in, there's a 1 liter jug in the house.)

Spoiler
You need to weigh down the rock on the cliff so it doesn't float away when you attach the balloon. Pour the gold into the coke can and place the remaining gold on the rock. Now attach the balloon.

For the crossbow:

You need to collect all the feathers. There are three, I can't remember exactly where they all are right now. Pick up the cross in the scarecrow's hand and attach the circular ring you got from the kettle in the fireplace.

I remember this happening when I replayed Trilby's Notes a few weeks ago, but that game uses an old version of the AGS engine.

Push the tree next to the shed for the walnut. You need to fix the clock before you can pick it up.

Khristian, who's that? I've exhausted all options with the garage dude, I can't talk to anyone else except for the ticket seller (who just says I need a ticket but it's sold out). I've noticed I can interact with the wall next to the non-suicidal lady but I don't know what to do with it. I also can't open the door in the alley anymore (the hotspot is gone).

I helped the suicidal woman and now I have no idea what to do. Any help?

Well, if you want, you can send me a translation file and I'll write it in better english for you. I like to think I'm not bad at writing and since your game has so much potential it makes me sad to see it bugged down by something so silly.

Alright, I fixed it. Just as I suspected, it happens if you enter the bedroom while still crawling. The view gets set back to walking, but the speed doesn't change. However, if you press space and stand just before you enter the bedroom your speed and view gets set back to walking.

Cool, now I can continue playing :D

(Also, the slippers in the bathroom don't have a name. They're just blank!)
