I think I've still got it on my old drive somewhere. It was a pretty cool game, not bad though.

I don't really care what information some database has on me. If they want to collect that kind of stuff, that's cool with me. I mean, I'd rather chill out at home and listen to some good music, instead of worrying about stuff like this.

I think it'd be awesome to have a huge database of everyone in the world. Organized Information readily available to anyone who needs it -- How awesome would that be?

Gamer_V: The drive hasn't been formatted, it just stopped working. The computer doesn't pick it up or assign a letter.

Boyd: It's a external enclosure with a normal hard disk inside it. The enclosure still works, it's just the disk that's broken.

Well it's a good thing you've warned me now. I just finished uninstalling mIRC... And all this time I never knew my pc was being flooded with viruses.

My portable hard drive crashed two days ago. Everything was on there --  my whole life. Everything I've done in the past 7 years was on there... My AGS games and source code, the songs I've written, all my 50 gigs of music, all my irreplaceable photos, pictures I've drawn, stories I've written...

Does anyone know if there's anything I could possibly do to retrieve this information without going to the extremes of spending thousands of bucks to have some scientist sift through my disks?

Any help would be appreciated.

(btw, it's the hard disk that stopped working, the USB interface on the portable is fine.)

Well there are several giveaways that told me the first time I heard it that it wasn't Tenacious D:

- Doesn't sound anything like Jack Black.
- Completely different style to any of their other songs.
- Not the type of thing they would sing about (they tend to stick to their 'characters' and rarely go out of 'character' like Weird Al)

It's actually a song by Corky and the Juice Pigs, it was mislabeled and uploaded to limewire or emule or something.
