I think both of you need to solve the vine-puzzle to go on.

hint:
Spoiler
Try to use something on the stonehead, then use something on the vine.

solution:
Spoiler
Move the statue's head with the pickaxe, attach your watch or a screw to the vine, throw the vine down the lattice, open the rusty bars with the small key and use the pulse reader on the vine.

Put the lamp on the drain, leave that room and go to the room with the water, where you found the battery

Thanks a bundle  Jimtbrit:

Spoiler
who'd have figured that a door giving responses such as "I don't know what to do with it", "I'm not touching it" and "I better leave it alone" should actually be opened...  ;)

That was surprising indeed,
Spoiler
and even more because accordant to the door's position, it should lead to the first room in the spaceship :-X

I'm also stuck with the good ending, and I can't figure out where that room could be.

To get the frozen metal bar, you have to cook some water in a self-made vessel and pour it over the bar. The metal bar should help you go on.

If you are hinting at a magnet, can you tell me where I can get one?

I attached my watch to the vine, but I can't reach it. The longest tool in my inventory is the firearm, but it is still too short. (This puzzle is starting to get me mad, because I always think why he doesn't take a damn branch from the jungle to reach the vine)

This is a really nice melody! The style reminds me very much of "Village Green" by the kinks, what is one of the greatest compliments I could pay a song.

I don't have much to critique, because generally the digital instruments don't bother me. It is only the drums, that could do with a more percussion-like sound. And sometimes a little less syllables than"...never used to cry" or "...sleeps upon a throne" would maybe sound better, but that's only personal taste.

You could also change the background voice melody in parts in order to achieve the sound of a duet or a choire (I can't think of the word I have in mind in English, sorry).

I would love to listen to more songs of this kind.

One JBurger with cheese, french fries and a coke, please.

Wow, I am amazed!

Watch your frisbee, especially when the moon is full and the air is still.

@bartillier: thanks dude ;)

Fine, this is a nice joust again, I gladly enter.

To be honest, I've already been working on this track before the contest started, so this is not an entry. I worked it over and now I think it creates a nice atmosphere along with the picture.

Ah, finally! Congrats to the winners, great stuff!

And I think the detailed review makes up for the delay. Overall a great contest, hope to see you again at the next one.

I've been watching these competitions for a long time now and have been afraid of posting because of my weak English (yes, you can call me vain), but finally I brought myself to join one, too.

Sorry for the Download-Link, but I just realized that if you listen to a streamed Midi-File, it loses all of its quality and atmosphere. Anyway the download shouldn't take you longer than 2 seconds + waiting time, for it's a tiny little Midi.

I messed up the end a bit, but this bulky Midi-accordion is so damn hard to play ;)

Wow, with your drawing abilities I'd think of making a hi-res adventure next time.

Progzmax, could you please post a version with all the cool things in it? I Seriously love your theme. The first time I listened to it my player was set to repeat and the theme was played at least for an hour ;). Everything in the internet then seemed very adventurous and I had the feeling something great would happen. In spite of being sober! ;)

I like it, too:)

Concernig the trees I think it's confusing that the farther ones have more shading than the nearer ones. I'd suggest more detail to the naked ones.

And between the row of tans (or whatever) and the trees upon the hill there is a broad bald ground. Maybe some undergrowth and bushes would make it look more harmonic. Furthermore you could at least indicate some snow in the background.

I think the camera angle is not very useful to the watchmen.

Hi Queen Kara,

I just read your first postings and I must say that you really should improve your German. If you'd like to refresh it, then look forward to a game that plays in the German alps, but it will still take some months to be finished because I don't know too much about scripting yet. The graphics, however, already are idyllic.
(sorry if my English is not very good)
