I am afraid we will need a bit more hints.

Congrats on the release! I’ve never commented on your game before, but truly admire your persistence and hard work. Especially given how much time and effort the game must have cost you to develop it! :)

Any Astérix issue written after René Goscinny's death. Why? Because it was scary to see how bad they were comparing those written by him.

Spoiler

I think what you need to do is to set the monster on fire. Have you climbed down the ladder and looked around a maintenance/office room?

Thanks SarahLiz, hope you will enjoy it :) Feel free to share your opinion - any feedback is welcome :)

I'm really glad you like it. My goal was to show something that isn't particularly popular in the mainstream :)

The puzzle is indeed mathematical. Here is a hint on one of the solutions to put you on the right track:
Spoiler

You must start by incrementing the initial value by 2. Also, remember you don't need to use all the buttons!

I'm being a bit enigmatic on purpose, as I don't want to spoil the fun too much ;)

However, if you are still stuck, here's the full solution:

Press 4,6 and 2. Then press the button to the right.

Marcin, is that the image from the market at ul. Grzybowska? Isn't that also the place where CD Projekt (the guys behind the Witcher) started their business as a retailer in the '90s? :D

That's a nice topic milkanannan.

I'm going to name only one game, Tropico 1. Saying that it changed my life would probably be an exaggeration, but it definitely enriched it (a lot). In my book the game is near perfect and I occasionally go back to it. But the main reason I have a soft spot for it is because it sparked my interest in the Spanish language, Cumbias, Chichas or Hispanic America in general. Now, I don't know what is it like in your countries but in mine the only thing I was taught in school about that part of the world was that it existed... So Tropico was like this gentle push in the back towards books and looking stuff up.

(Yes, I know that Hispanic America means a lot of countries and cultural diversity. I don't want to generalise. I just want to show that thanks to the game I'm more than curious about new things).

Enjoy :D: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n78vyOFQc_s&ab_channel=WorldCircuitRecords

To be honest, UKZ sent me a PM with the solution but I guess opening a Tips and Hints thread is not a bad idea :)

There is another item that you need.
Spoiler
Go to the bathroom and use the ladder on the vent, then click the vent to get a bolt.

I think...

... this is exactly what I missed. I used the ladder with the fish(y) neon sign and I did sth to it (opened it?) but I was a bit confused about what exactly happened.

I'm going to continue playing the game this weekend.

Just a low-poly militia camp I am making, for a Shattered Union mod for CivIII:

Hey, these look really cool!

Thanks to you both! I've managed to finish the game :)

I like the fact that the game educates the player on Japanese folklore/traditions (what certain objects are called and what they're for etc.).

I've fixed the issue with skipping through the dialogues that milkanannan and Tampere pointed out.

Here's a short video demonstrating it. At first, I let the dialogue lines be displayed normally, but then I skip them through (both with typewriter effect on and off).

Hi there :)

You can point me at the easiest game you know and I *will* get stuck on it and be terribly embarrassed by the whole endeavor.

Nothing to be embarrassed about, really. Sometimes I think that getting stuck is the essence of point'n'clicks...

Yeah there's no mistaking that style.
I know, right? I mean I've never played it myself but I would recognise it everywhere :D

Ok, one of the most original games I've ever played:

A really nice little game with similar mechanics to games by Rusty Lake :)
I got stuck, though. I think the descriptions could be a little bit more detailed, as I tried using, inspecting and examining everything I could but still didn't get the idea of what I should be doing next.
Spoiler

I have a broom, a fan, a string, an ink, scissors, a twig, a cat figurine. Don't know what to do next :)

I've just stopped playing the game, as I got stuck. I must point out though that the amount of work you put into this game is truly amazing! I really enjoyed the art and atmosphere (the first cut-scene with the giant spider coming down from the web on the bridge gave me a bit of goose bumps) :)

But as others have already mentioned the game has some imperfections that might make the gameplay cumbersome. Missing labels, inconsistent spelling, too short action label (when I hovered over the remote control it said "remote control (no batt'") and so on.

Also, the animations are really great! I think the game would look even better, though, if reverse animations were added. What I mean is when Jonathan bends down to pick sth up, there is no animation showing him straightening back again. He just jumps back to the default position. Just a thought :)

But to sum up, a really nice game. Looking forward to seeing more stuff from you :)

As for getting stuck...
Spoiler

I'm in the lab. I have a soda can, a hammer, a fretsaw and a drill. I used the ladder (quite a big ladder to carry around in your pockets ;)) to open (?) the fusebox. Any ideas what I should be doing next?
