Hi,

I uploaded a game yesterday (Knorrig the Gifted Troublemaker) and remember adding a link to the downloadable built, but when I click the download button there is no option to download it.  I tried adding the link again and again, but in spite of pressing Update and being redirected to the updated game page, the link is still no there. I've checked a couple of other recently updated games and they don't have the download options either? The link points to an itch.io page, which I have used in my other game pages, too.

Has anything change with regards to the links, or am I doing something wrong?

Who said having a pet piggie is a bad idea? Well, you did. Just now. It's 10 minutes before the festive dinner and you find yourself in a pickle thanks to your pet. Or should we say 'pigle'. The lovely gift for your sister is gone. Will you manage to get it back in time?

Manual:
You control Timur, the main character, with mouse using only left mouse button. The right button is used only to click out from menus or to display inventory descriptions.
In settings, there is an option to disable mouse highlights when hovering over interactive hotspots - the game is rather short, so this way you may try to challenge yourself a bit : )
There is also a setting enabling Colour Blind Mode, which makes certain parts of the game more accessible.

Enjoy! :)

Alright... after three weeks of sharing one laptop, one baby, and doing all the Covid-paperwork and taking all safety measures in order to fly back home, as well as surviving Christmas, I would like to present you

I am happy to announce that our game, Knorrig the Gifted Troublemaker, is ready and fully playable : ) I will release it tomorrow after we upload to the project some last bits and bobs like credits and title screens.

Am I right to think that the deadline is by tomorrow (so including 31st)?

I haven't posted anything lately but the game is still in works. We flew back home for Christmas hoping to have a little bit of time, but instead of coding/drawing we have been mainly gift shopping... (I hate that bit of Christmas).

We are still in, though. Most probably the last days of December will be a proper crunch time for us  :-D

Isn't it The Prince and The Coward again?

On my end, the work is still very much in progress, but there is a chance the game will be ready for the deadline.
Here's a little peek into the game we are making:

Before I joined I thought MAGS was fun... Now however I find myself staring at the monitor until late hours, while the rest of the family are sound asleep.

Together with my wife, we’ve got a nice idea for a game and will try to turn it into sth playable by the end of the month.

Given how little time we’ve got at the moment, it may be silly to participate, but hey â€" we’re in :)

I was thinking Dragonsphere at first, but then I noticed these lions in the corners. Are they the Scottish lion rampart?

Something to do with Atlantis? (Given the big non-existent continent to the west of Australia)

Or is that "Libraria" or something, considering the big scales on it?

Lol, I didn't even notice it, until you pointed it out. I am not sure how this place was called in the game, but it definitely was the last stop, where the main character and his nemesis would check who collected more gold.

Perhaps it's a DuckTales game, then?

Yup, it's a DuckTales game. The full title is DuckTales: The Quest for Gold. And I wasn't kidding. The levels with the mummy jumping out on you were really close to giving me a heart attack.

Over to you, heltenjon :)

Hacker?

No, the game's universe isn't really tech oriented. It has more of an adventure/Indiana Jones' vibe imo.

Carmen Sandiego?

Edit: the ‘where in time’ version of the game

No, but it's a very popular franchise.

Here ya go

Thanks Frodo. I might use it as well.

Here we go:

As a kid, I suffered nightmares because of that game. It's not a horror, though ;)

I think an actual fantasy writer was hired to write the story for it. Do you find it hard? My brother had a big box edition when it came out. I remember giving it a go at least twice and getting stuck pretty early on : )

I'll try to post sth soon.

Hang on a minute... Is that a Polish game called "KsiÄ...żę i Tchórz" (The Prince and the Coward)? In some other countries I think it was called  Gallador or sth like that?

There is something really sinister about that pig : )

But all in all a really nice cover. For some reason, it reminds me of old-school cassette tape covers.

Making the prototype covers were great fun, but O Lord, getting the things cut to the right size was outrageously tricky. Digital distribution have some great advantages.

I can imagine. The whole thing seems like a fun thing to do.

This reminded me of my idea of making my personal big box edition of Absurdistan. I remember wondering about how to make the cover image for the actual CD (the disc, not the box). I was thinking that printing on an adhesive paper should do the trick. But similarly to what you mentioned, I was sure that cutting out a perfect circle would drive me nuts.

Your game looks awesome, too.

Why the CD cover is bent? I can't stop thinking about it now : )

Wouldn’t this work?:
Code: ags

PlayerInfoHP.Text = String.Format("-Health: %d/%d", citizens[0].hp, secondInt);

Hi Pax Animo,
Just wanted to say that your graphics look stunning.

I'm guessing that developing a well-balanced system for an RPG must be quite a head-scratch (I mean weapons, enemy stats etc.).

All the best with the project. I'd love to play it when it's finished.

The damage might have been done but it's good to know that the project is still alive, though. I myself have been waiting for some updates on the development. I keep fingers crossed for you eri0o.

Is the game going to be that big?
