It was a lot easier to decide here, when some of my odd favourites weren't elegible.

I had the same experience. My Siblings, The Stones didn't make the final cut in any category? Really?

Currently re-watching Mr. Robot.

Not the sort of song I usually listen to, but damn this thing has hooks for days. It really got stuck in my head (the same thing happened the first time I watched the show, too as I recall).

But hustling for votes breaks the unwritten rules of good manners. It's thematically appropriate! 

I'm kind of struggling to decide how to vote on these. Do I vote for the game I feel is genuinely the best designed entry, or the one that breaks the most rules of game design? Hmmmm...

As I see it, you have several crucial criteria to consider...

1) You could vote for the person who finished their game first (whoever that may be).
2) You could vote for the person whose game you were actually able to finish (whoever that may be).
3) You could vote vote for the person who was clearly farming for votes in a desperate bid to win (whoever that may be).

Once again, thanks for playing the MAGS games on your channel. And thanks for once again finding a game-crashing bug in one of my MAGS games while the world was watching. 

UPDATE: Just uploaded a new version of the game that fixes the bug WHAM found.  Whoops!

I'm planning to do my usual MAGS Twitch stream this Thursday at around 17:00 UTC, playing all the games released to see if I can beat them.

Man, there were a LOT of really good games this year. I don't think I've ever nominated this many different games across all the categories before. 

Haven't heard from Stupot, but I guess since a few of us are wanting an extension it's safe to assume that it'll be okay?

I don't think you need permission. Breaking the rules is encouraged, I think. 

"Best Character" currently has only 2 valid nominations (i.e. only two characters got the required 5 votes). If this doesn't change, we might not do this category next year.

But Best Character is the most important category there is (see sig file below) 

Would you mind trying again please? The unexpected slowness of the site may have caused a time-out. If it still happens, can you please let me know what game you're trying to edit? And what fields you're trying to update? Can you maybe include a screenshot? That'll all help me finding the cause.

Hi. Just tried again, but still no luck. All I'm trying to do is change the title from "Bière Américaine" to "Bière Américaine (MAGS)"  I change the text in the title box, click "Save" but nothing happens. It's not a big issue, really, I just like to flag my MAGS games as such, so people have more reasonable expectations about the game they're about to play.

   
I've wasted like 20 minutes on this tile puzzle, its so evil.. well done!

What does not saving the changes entail?  Do you get any error messages?  Or does it give a success message but without actually saving?

I made the changes, tried to save them, and it just seemed to hang there and never update.

We need more votes, especially in the "Short Game" and "Best Character" categories.

"Best Character" currently has only 2 valid nominations (i.e. only two characters got the required 5 votes). If this doesn't change, we might not do this category next year.

I will have my votes in by Saturday morning, my time. I still have a couple of games to power through. 

The Actions menu under the image gallery should give you an Edit Game link?

The new site is very impressive. I especially like the new games database.

Just one question: How do I edit a game's page in the database if I want to make some changes? I just uploaded my MAGS game and I can't see a way to edit the page now.
