Yes! Absolutely! Embrace Fahrenheit! And pints! Be sure to measure all the available inventory space in pints!  :=

Quote from: Matti on Wed 28/12/2022 22:31:24I'm just glad to see you survived the -40° Celsius you had in that crazy winter storm!
It was horrendous! Ice!* Snow!* Failures of the electrical grid! Cold lasagna for Christmas dinner! It's a wonder I survived it! The wind was howling at 10,000 decimeters per kilo-hour and the temperature was easily 20 degrees below absolute zero!** The only thing that kept me going was my trusty electric torch and my rugged American indifference to that World Cup thing that they were talking about on the Mexican radio station.

I hope you're thankful to be in the tropical paradise of Berlin, where the warm trade winds blow!***

* Small, but scientifically detectable trace amounts of each! It was ghastly! *
** Conversions to the metric system are approximate but probably reliable.
*** Geographic knowledge also approximated.

You lost, Frodo. Now start using the words "soccer" and "gasoline." Abandon the metric system! Embrace Fahrenheit! Yee haw!

Also, flashlights used to have a button that allowed you to blink or flash them, for signaling others in code.

I'm hoping we see lots of entries this month... so I'll have lots of games to play on Christmas morning.

Quote from: lorenzo on Sun 27/11/2022 09:37:14Wait a minute! ...is Ponch the Hollywood executive I was waiting for?!??!?!
Not to brag, but my big glass jug of pennies is VERY full.  :=

Bought this a while ago. Finally played it. Very fun little game. Well-paced and the puzzles never had me banging my head against a wall. Worth every one of those two hundred pennies. :cheesy:

Sadly, the wooden pole is un-punchable. One good hit from our hero would send it toppling over, and then you'd never be able to complete the sinister and devious "use can of gasoline on gas-powered generator" puzzle.

Thanks, heltenjon! I'm glad I was able to spread the gospel of Rowsdower.  :=

Thanks, OneDollar. My day is just a little brighter now.  :cheesy:

Thanks, OneDollar. Hopefully, this game will be that crucial piece of the puzzle on your journey to becoming a Canadian citizen.  :cheesy:

Thanks also for leaving a comment on the game's page. I can only hope you voted too. Goodness knows if just a few more people would leave a vote, it might earn a player rating.

Quote from: lorenzo on Sun 06/11/2022 11:49:362034 AC lore is getting deep!

Just played the game, I loved it! Really funny dialogues and situations, as expected from your games. I just wished it were a bit longer because I was really enjoying it.

I felt that the main character's walking speed was a bit slow, but we also get to enjoy the minimalist walking animation this way, so it's all good ;)

Also, you managed to get quite a lot of licensed music for the game :P

Anyway, very funny game, definitely recommended!

Walking too slow? Zap Rowsdower doesn't "walk," sir... he struts!  :=

The licensed music wasn't cheap!   But I had to use a cover version of The Theme From The Littlest Hobo. You wouldn't believe how much the Canadian Broadcasting Company charges for the original. But I made that animation of the dog playing the guitar, so I had to get some version of the song in the game.

Also, the game originally had another room and two more puzzles planned, but they had to get the axe. I just ran out of time. That's the curse of MAGS. But, hey, I actually finished my MAGS game for a change. That so rarely happens.

Thanks! It's always nice to finish a game.

Lastly, I just noticed that an earlier tie-in game of mine, 2034 A.C. II is suddenly on the "most popular this week" list, just behind this game. Thanks, AGS community.

Thanks, Lorenzo.

Now that the competition is over, I can divulge a secret. This is directly connected to 2034 AC. The main character in this game is Paige's grandfather.

It's a prequel!

Sound advice, indeed!  :=

I'm happy to take a win, but I didn't want to win by default.  :undecided:  I hope pell and Heltenjon finish their game. it was a theme with a lot of potential. Thanks to CaptainD and Kastchey for choosing it!
