Damn you Ponch and your infinite-dialogue powers.
It's both my blessing and my curse.  :=

Giving the little piece of cheese to the kid is completely optional. As for your other question:
Spoiler
Yes, you need a tape to distract Stu. Once he's distracted, search around for the cheese.
Spoiler
Talk to the singer and find out what she needs before she'll give you one.

Thanks for playing my game.  :)

Pssst... I stole the cheese.  It was very tasty.
Ah ha! So it was you! Prick Peckard will be dropping by your house shortly with an arrest warrant and a pair of handcuffs.  (wrong)

Oh Dear,
I've played up to Pirates on the Poopdeck, one of my knew most favired games 4ev 'arr, I'm so happy I found this thread! Thanks Ponch. Was trying to understand what the heck Oceanspirit Dave was all about for a while now..
p.s. do AGS games not like windows 7?  these games don't run well on my laptop, music is messed etc., maybe the sound card ??
You can never have too much Dennis!  :=

Regarding your tech issues, several of the OSD games (mostly mine) were made with an older version of AGS. Some newer systems have issues with it. Sorry.  :undecided:

Is it okay to submit a demo? Cause I might be able to do that.
I'm only the guy who picked the theme, so I can't say one way of the other. But as long as it's a playable demo, I don't see why that would be a problem. Heck, my MAGS games are always a lot smaller than I plan them to be.  :-[

The only OSD game I've played is The Wet Spot
And that's only because I made you play it.  :=

Instead of making MAGS open source all the time, why not just make the open source game RoN/OSD contest an annual event like OROW?

Yearly Open Source Adventure Game Studio Event? aka "YOSAGSE"?

Say it with me: Yo-Sags-Ee. Why, it just rolls off the tongue, don't you agree?  ;)

Updated thread with From Hell's Hart, I Is Stabbings. I don't know why I forgot to do that when I released the game.:embarrassed:

What the heck? I go away for a weekend and I come back to find Monkey abroad spreading the good word and taking code to the codeless? It's like Dualnames going off to war all over again! Or Ben304 getting a haircut! I don't know what to think anymore!

Good luck on your travels, Monkey. Hope to see you back here again one day.

I'm for it. But I want to see more RON and OSD games and I'll take 'em any way I can get 'em.  :=

Will there be another tweaked version in the future?  A sequel perhaps?   8-)
That would be good, eh?
There will indeed be another adventure for Paige Rowsdower. But that's a donut I'm keeping under wraps for now, eh?

The cheese is now free for everyone. Please enjoy.  :cheesy:

if your Barn Runner can keep paces like this...
I wish I could, eh? Unlike 2034 A.C., with it's simple sprites, all the art in Barn Runner is hand drawn. I literally draw each and every frame of a walkcycle on paper with a pen and then scan it in to turn them into sprites. Drawing and scanning all those actors and backgrounds is very time consuming. I wish I could turn out the Barn Runner games this fast, but I haven't found the trick to it yet.  :P

Anyhooo, thanks for playing After Canada, Airborne. I'm glad you liked it.  ;-D

I miss the old Monkey posts about girls he's interested in and such.
Ditto.

Seriously, Monkey. Go make a RON or OSD game or something. Rekindle your love of AGS games by making an AGS game.  (nod)

We Canadians probably enjoyed it the most!
Another Canadian in our forums! Goodness, it's practically an invasion! A well-mannered invasion!

Stee: Thanks, dude. Glad you liked it, eh?
Xionix: Don't worry if you don't get all the jokes. Canada is very tricky that way.

And voting is finally closed. (I had hoped to get this up on Friday but ran out of time and I was out of town all weekend. Whoops.) Anyhoo, now that the Oscars are done, we can get to the trophies everyone really cares about! :=

First place (and the gold diary) goes to WHAM!

CaptainD takes second place (and the silver diary)!

And everybody else gets the bronze diary.

I hope you record all your secret thoughts and crazy ideas for crossovers and mashups in these diaries, people. Perhaps one day you might give us the next Twilight or something (please don't (wrong) ). And now I turn things over to WHAM. Take it away, sir!  ;-D

Thanks for the entries, guys. Now it's time to vote!

WHAM: Second Escape - A Chance of the Dead Fanfiction

CaptainD: A dozen or more AGS game titles in a single short story (Probably a working title, I think)

Baron: Gemini Who?

Bulbapuck: Eicha

Please cast your votes within the next 72 hours!
