Behold the TackyWorld Interactive World Headquarters Programming Center

Yes, it's a bit old school. But I haven't found a better system for running AGS 2.72 and the many binders help to organize the endless stacks of punch cards that creating each Barn Runner game in 2.72 requires.

You damn kids and your floppy disks. You should be able to feel each line of code in your hands! (wrong)

Mazes and Monsters?

I could make a "Little House On The Prairie" game where everyone dies of dysentery. Oh wait... it's been done already.

Look like it's "Story of O" for me... unless Dualnames has already called dibs on it.  :=

Do novels based on movies/games count? ... "Knee-deep into the Dead" (Doom)?

You must have huge guts to ask that question!  :=

I think Ponch is trying to drop hints too.

What? A man can't enjoy vintage pornography without ulterior motives? I'm shocked and appalled, Eric! First Hell Comes To Mayberry, and now this!  :=

Any favourite celebrity that should act your part in the obvious "movie-based-on-the-novel-inspired-by-the-game-affected-by-the-novel-about-the-game's-movie's-author"?

The only celebrity who could play me is Sam Elliot. Or possibly Wesley Snipes. They're sort of interchangeable really.

UPDATE:
I am officially MAGSing the month. I started work on my game this evening and have most of the voice roles cast.  ;-D

And I'm really going to finish this time! Pinky swear!

You could *make* that game, write a *novel* about how you made the game, *publish* it, and then *make a new game about it*!
You have four weeks!

You're right! That's exactly what I could do!  :cheesy:  This is going to be even easier than I thought!!

...hoping to find traces of blood or soup.

Soup Nazis? Man, I hate soup nazis. The only thing worse is Illinois Nazis.

+1 Tent IV exploring. The shattered remains of this camp aren't going to explore themselves.

the movie is quite different from the Home Alone, in many sense.

The Devil In Miss Jones?  :=

That movie is very different from Home Alone.

You're... going to write an OSD novel and then make a game about that? :) :cheesy:

Shits! Now I will must do the new plan makings! Teh forums has caughts on to my teh cleverly plot!

Hmmm... I think I have an idea... It's poorly thought out and probably not good enough to really build a game around...

It's perfect for MAGS!  :cheesy:

Obviously only OSD games can reach for that brass ring and dare to provide an OSD gaming experience.

Hmmm. That reminds me. I haven't made an OSD game in a while...

Countermand that Alamo remembrance!

Yer lucky I don't know no fancy big words, buddy. Otherwise, them might be fightin' words!  (wrong)

It's a MAGS game, Onker. Almost by default, no effort is put into a MAGS game compared to a "real" AGS game -- other than the herculean task of of making a working game in just a few weeks. There simply isn't time. Getting a working GUI, player character, inventory items, and a few backgrounds together from scratch (SCRATCH!) in such a short amount of time usually only leaves time for a few rooms and couple of rather simple puzzles. MAGS games have to get by on charm. And I think this game has charm in spades.

Short version: I liked it. I'm sorry you didn't. But honestly, what are you expecting for a game made in about three weeks, give or take?  :-\

Oh crap. This means we're probably a werewolf.

I actually came to post this same thing...except I wasn't joking!

Being a werewolf is nothing to joke about! Sounds to me like Eric's in league with the lamp!

We are probably between realities even now, in some sort of sweaty nether region where a misdirected sneeze can send us all spiralling into the vortex of oblivion.

The Quantum Taint! It's exactly as Einstein theorized! (In one of his lesser known and hopefully unpublished papers)

We have no choice except to rub Tent IV and explore the lamp. God help us all.

you do not recall hearing any shooting last night. You'd think you'd woken up to the sound of gunfire so close to where you were sleeping.

Oh crap. This means we're probably a werewolf. That's the only logical explanation for why we can't remember eating our fellow soldiers. But let's not panic. It may be due to some other reason, no matter how unlikely. I think we should floss out teeth and check to see if there are any teeny, tasty bits of our fellow soldiers.
