Suddenly a ghost appears and says "Take the lamp, you fool. You don't want to die in the darkness, like I did. Also, don't listen to anything Frodo says! She'll get you killed!"



The ghost disappears as quickly as he arrived and you can't be sure you didn't imagine the whole thing.

But he said something... about a lamp... A warning perhaps?



(Sorry, WHAM. I couldn't resist!  )
(But no apologies to Frodo! She stuck everyone's finger in a lamp socket!  )

I'm a little nervous just being so close to the lamp. 

(I once loved a lamp... but it ended badly... I don't want to talk about it!)

Five days left. I hope we get a few more stories!

I never played the first one, but this is a very fun little game. 

Hmmm...Did Russ Meyer ever write a book?

Yes, he did! An autobiography that spans three volumes! It's a hell of an interesting read.

Thanks, Uziel! Personally, I've always considered myself the Stepahnie Meyer (or possibly Dan Brown*) of the AGS World-- a prolific hack, but I gratefully accept your compliment nonetheless. 

I also appreciate your offer of help. But there are only four Barn Runner games left to go. I made it through the first fifteen (FIFTEEN!!! ) games on my own. I want to make it through the last four on my own. I'm trying to set some sort of AGS endurance record.
