Cool little video. But I was shocked and outraged that Oceanspirit Dennis was the big finale. Surely the maker of that video must know that Dennis heralds a new golden age for adventuring!  8)

Thanks guys. And we finally got things sorted out with Child's Play. The software for their calendar doesn't allow for such long events. So they're going to list us the last three days of the sale (Feb 27-29), and hopefully that will give us a nice bump in donations just before we wrap this thing up.  8)

A very good game that I had the pleasure of beta testing back in the long-ago days when the bake sale was just beginning. It has two endings (that I know of) and one of the most amazing bathrooms you'll ever see. Play it for just a few minutes and it will draw you right in to it's dark, unsettling world.

This is a fun little game suitable for all ages. After the dark, unsettling themes of 9 Months In and Retina, this is sort of the light and fluffy dessert of the bake sale bundle.

I'm glad The Rail touched your inner nerd in a special way. And I'm sorry you found the WEG setup a little awkward.

We chose WEG for several reasons. If we went through Child's Play's PayPal setup, then we would have no idea how much money we were actually raising. And since this is our first time doing a fundraiser, we wanted the ability to check our stats day to day and see how we were doing. Further, this being our first fundraiser, Dave has ready access to the WEG setup and the fine folks at BMT Micro, so that made it an obvious choice for us. Plus Dave offers free tech support and PR releases to us, and that's the sort of thing that's hard to say no to. 

Still, you dared the fearsome dragons of the WEG checkout page and returned home victorious with much treasure and swag. Sure, it may not have been quite as easy as PayPal, but think of the adventure you would have missed out on if you'd taken the road more traveled. And now you have a tale to share with your grandkids one day.

Oh no. Not another New Year. I'm still hung over from the one we had a few weeks ago. 

I've studied those photos carefully, Ben. But I can't find the sweets tin anywhere. 

Also, great game Hofmeier. Trying to figure out what all the robot powers did and how they worked was an adventure unto itself. It took me back to my tween years, playing imported, untranslated NES games and being completely baffled and very entertained. 

Finished this one last night. Another good game, Ben. That odd, haunting world is going to stay with me for a while. Nicely done. 

There has been talk about Bake Sale II. Possibly even Bake Sale 1.5, which would be a smaller fundraiser here in this community, just to raise money for Peder or CJ or some "local" cause. Maybe we could get the bakers who weren't able to finish their games for this sale to polish 'em up and sale them this summer to help the AGS Archives of something. Heck, who knows? We might even buy CJ a server or something. 8)

Bake Sale II, when it happens, would be a larger, "open to the world" affair that would raise money for charity again. But that's a year away and we're all pretty baked-out at the moment.

When this bug was first reported, I tried every combination of resolution, filter, and setting. I can't get the game to crash.

Good thing for me that zhu293hana's double-dealing antics are drawing attention away from pon447ch and po328nch and the way they've been giving all the Barn Runner games such high scores in the games database in recent weeks.  8)
