It was the black fender that gave it away. Anyhoo, let's keep the action going. Here's my next explosive clue:

Bourne Identity?

We're hitting the road for this writing challenge. You story must feature some sort of road trip, car chase, roadside diner, or something with a connection to the open road.

But the challenge doesn't end there! This tale must also have a tie in to the world of AGS. It must feature at least two AGS game characters or game creators. Maybe Oceanspirit Dennis and Life Partner Ray hit the road in their magic pimpmobile. Or what if Ben Croshaw and Ben Chandler join forces and use the combined might of their fearsome Ben-ness to terrorize the back roads of Australia? Maybe CJ and Dave Gilbert spend one magical summer traveling across America in search of the perfect onion ring (kosher, of course). Or perhaps the RON gang hit the road to solve mysteries and teach lady truckers how to love.

The possibilities are endless! But the deadline isn't. Have your stories in to the Blue Cup Roadhouse by the close of business January 26th.

Personally, nothing I've ever done has been described as "full of win", so I'll happily take the compliment. As far as I'm concerned, the bakers and the bake sale are all full of win.

That's quite an impressive list for our first effort. Our thanks go out to each and every baker, both those who turned in a game and those who weren't able to make the deadline for one reason or another. We hope the games that weren't finished in time will still see the light of day. They were all very cool ideas and they surely would have made for some good gaming fun.

The bake sale happens in less than ten days. We hope the AGS Community will turn out to support us with fistfuls of money.

Another question, how do I host and find the image when I do that?

There are lots of image hosts around. I think our own Peder Johnson offers file hosting. Once you have the image uploaded somewhere, just change the url link in the code I posted above to point to the place where you uploaded the file.

That's what I'm thinking too. Or maybe that guy can open some of the doors we couldn't. We have to find some way out. This and the movie thread are my favorite threads on the forums. I want to get our little security guard and his poll cue to safety!  8)

Of course, you may want to find your own image host rather than use the Captain's bandwidth. I don't know if he wants to keep that image up forever.

The next bake sale will happen next year (I think). Or possibly this Christmas? I can't say for sure. I think Calin Leafshade may be running that one. At least, I hope he will. After this one, I'm pretty pooped and I hope he still wants to take the reins of the next one.

No matter the date, that gives you plenty of time to work on this game for the next sale. However, since we don't want to confuddle people, could you please take the AGS Bake Sale tag off the game until after this bake sale is over? I don't want people asking why your bake sale game isn't in the bundle of games they bought in the bake sale. It might lead to people thinking we ripped them off by holding some games back.

When the next bake sale rolls around, you can slap the Bake Sale tag back on. But in the meantime, we don't want any games using the tag that aren't going to be in the bundle.
