Ben: I agree. AGS Today has lost a step. I can only assume it's due to the internet (which apparently Oceanspirit Dennis only wounded instead of killing it). But so long as they have page three, I'll continue to keep my subscription current.  8)

Cat: Thanks for sending me to the googles. I had never heard of Michael and the absent twelve fishermen. Neat!

I would never talk about any secret society that might (but doesn't) exist even if I did know about it (which I don't).

Your secret (if it exists, which it doesn't) would be safe with me even if it were (which it isn't) necessary.

Good man. That's exactly the right thing to do (unless it isn't. I'm getting confused to be honest).  ;)

I have seen the light.

And it is good.

And sexy.

Careful, Darth. Keep talking like that and people might start to suspect you know something about a certain Secret Society, should it exist (which it does not).  ;)

Hey, I recognize some of the faces in that article there!  :o

And some of the beaks, too! :)

Are you sure? I think that could be anyone's beak. Clearly, the editors at AGS Today went to great lengths to conceal the identities of the members of this so called Secret Society (if it even exists, which it does not).  ;)

You're still stuck on that?

Pfft, completed it months ago, man.

Proof.

Damn! Why does it seem that everyone else always finishes games before I do!

For the record, nobody ever did comment on the fact that the non-Engrish portion of the title of this game is in a combination of Japanese and Chinese. It's pretty danged cool like that.

Perhaps we were too distracted by all the awesomeness on our screens? I know I was! Especially that Life Partner Ray! His voice actor really brought him to life with that sexy baritone! No wonder Dennis loves him so much!  8)

Normally you might argue that it's wrong to say that about your own preformance... But in this case it's so true.

Darn tootin'  ;)

I was thinking last night- is this thread gonna reactivate this weekend?... Should I post first?... ;)

I'm glad it did because it always makes me feel better to k now there are others who check this forum as often as me ( or probably more).

Hey, has anyone noticed the search function is back?;) Happy days!:)  - I should probably have used it to find how many times this has been mentioned already!

Exactly. Ignore the salacious rumors about the AGS Secret Society. That's the best thing to do. Absolute codswallop, that's all that rumor is. Good man, Grim. Well done!  :)

THE PLOT THICKENS!

I know what you're all thinking. "A secret society? In my AGS Community? Never!"

And I agree totally. I think it's safe to assume that this is pure libel (or is it slander? I can never keep those two straight). I think the best thing for us to do is to simply ignore these scandalous rumors and certainly not give in to the irresistible temptation to speculate wildly about the rumors of an AGS Secret Society and try our hardest not to imagine what sort of sexy, mysterious, leather pants wearing adventures they're almost certainly getting up to while the rest of us are living safe, boring, much more sensible pants wearing lives.

An AGS Secret Society, if it exists at all (and I'm certain it does not), is no place for good, decent folk such as ourselves. And anything this AGS Secret Society might be planning behind the scenes, with the help of powerful, also as yet unidentified and unbearably sexy moderators and bloggers, is something that doesn't concern any of us good, decent folk of the AGS Community, who have much better things to do with our time than speculate about shadowy, provocative groups working even now towards some unbearably exciting goal.

Tantalizing nonsense, that's all this is!!

Let's just put it all behind us, what do you say?  :=

(And I'm sure that any members of this Secret Society will NOT give away any details regarding their incredibly exciting and sexy plans either in forum posts or PMs to anyone not in the inner circle, such is their dedication to the AGS Secret Society, if it even exists (which I'm certain it does not).

I noticed that when you first released the game as I went to go see what it said and noticed I had translate it from jap to Eng then from chi to eng

And then I had to translate that post from icey to Eng.  ;)

Thanks. I fixed the files and the links. If I missed anything or if any other links are broken, let me know.  :)

The music used during the underground lake is a spooky remix of "Kraid's Lair" from Metroid. It's been on my hard drive for years and I can't remember where I found it.

As far a listing of all the tracks, maybe I'll do that and put it up on my site one of these days. But it would take a long time. There are almost 70 tracks in 5-3 alone!

Anyhoo, glad you're enjoying the game. I sent you a PM with some useful info about the water maze. Hope that helps.  :)

So we're all agreed then, right? Wham is a terrible person and should feel bad about this.  ;)

Hmmm... Dry, dusty land... somebody's upside down... Clearly this movie is set in Australia.

Boom! Walkthrough!

I'm glad you're liking the game! And to answer your question:
Spoiler
Normally, chickens make for good eating. But Lightning is Hilde's special friend. As such, all you can do is turn him in for the reward. But don't look at him as an inventory item with limited use, look at him as a little lost bird who needs someone to get him home safely. And that should be reward enough. That and the fistful of money, of course.  :)

Thanks for playing!  :D

I noticed the bar codes, but never thought they were a clue. Sigh.  :-[

I have looked for this oceanspirit thing to no avail, any pointers here?

Look no further!

But please understand this is a bit of a tongue in cheek suggestion.  ;)

And don't let the others talk you out of one man projects. I still make my games that way. It takes a while, but I like it that way.  8)
