I'll be sure to let the panel know how badly you want an award, Ponch :).

Good! Thank you. It's about time the Secret Council of AGS Elders was made aware of this.  :=

I admire your nobility, ProgZ.

I also admire your AGS lifetime achievement award.  :=

I hope none of you seriously laments releasing a game because of the AGS Awards.  Frankly, the AGS awards are just a bit of fluff

Says the man with three or four AGS awards. ;)

Meh, I never even saw that film.

But elixirs are cool, so maybe I should.

Two words: Gun Fu

It's awesome!  :D

Also, why not hide a compass in the game. It will give us something to search for besides ineffective weapons and partially thawed food. ;)

Death Becomes Her!

It is an elixir (of sorts), but not from that movie. Try again!

Ah, thanks. Should have known it was something I couldn't care less about. Sigh. I was hoping it was something the cool AGS kids were doing so I could hop on the bandwagon and / or ride their coat tails.  :=

Big Trouble in Little China?

Ooh, so close! Oh wait, I meant not close at all.  :=

On an unrelated note, what's with all the plus signs after everyone's names? Is this some new thing like mittens? Or the order of the maggot? Or is there a new IceyDay afoot and no one told me?  ???

Sans Soleil?
How did you do ???

It wasn't easy. I went to IMDB to see how many French films had been made without a naked Sophie Marceau in them. Turns out there have been quite a few. (What the hell, French film industry?! Sophie should be in all your movies!) Then, having learned how many movies I would have to watch that didn't feature gratuitous Sophie nudity, I gave up and goggled "French film makers who have inspired Terry Gilliam". From there, it was just a series of "Chris Marker" google image searches until I found a movie still with porcelain cats in them. (My kung fu is strong!  :D )

So, yes, I cheated. But this thread was in danger of losing its mojo. I had no choice! ;)

And now, without further adieu, here's my next movie clue:

Enjoy!

Are you sure that's not just because you give them all huge boobs, anyway? :)

I tend to use this for more light-hearted games or when I want characters to show expression without the use of a dialog portrait.

Exactly. It's a stylistic choice. My characters, for example, have boobs slightly bigger than normal when I want to show boobies without the use of gratuitous closeups.  :D
