One thing that I really like about this series is the incredible level of detail in just about every facet of this game's universe. ... I know it's a cliched thing to say, but you can tell that a lot of heart went into the making of this series.

Not hardcore enough. Kids these days. 

To be fair, several people got stuck on that puzzle. And not everyone lives and breathes Barn Runner like the super fan that you are, Dual.

I hope you guys are working on some nice entries for this competition. Because these trophies (see the first post) are AWESOME! 

Im stuck early in the game, trying to open the door at the start, the puzzle doesnt make sense to me!  can anyone help me solve it thanks

Hi Tina. I'm glad to help. There aren't really any hints to give regarding the door puzzle. So here's the solution:

The following controls are used to solve this puzzle: The four yellow buttons (labeled A through D), the two handles on the side (Upper Handle and Lower Handle), the Lock / Unlock knob, the green “Next Step” button, and the “Push To Cycle” button.

Let’s take the solution to this puzzle step by step.
·   Click the green “Next Step” button four times to read the instructions.
·   Turn the knob to “Unlock”
·   Press the “C” button. Press “Next Step.”
·   Press the “D” button. Set the handles to Upper: Up and Lower: Down. Next Step.
·   Set the handles to Upper: Up and Lower: Up. Next Step.
·   Press the “A” button. Set the handles to Upper: Down and Lower: Up. Next Step
·   Set the handles to Upper: Down and Lower: Down. Next Step.
·   Press the “B” button. Set the handles to Upper: Up and Lower: Down. Next Step
·   Press the “A” button. Turn the knob to “Lock”. Press “Push to Cycle.”

I have to confess, the latest OSD game inspired me, so there will be another game to add to this list in the near future!

Awesomeness! However, if you release an OSD game instead of Ben Jordan 8, there may be riots in the streets of AGSville. 

Why release it instead, before or after Ben Jordan? Just merge both universes into one game!

I don't know. Have you played Ray of Hope. Tzachs set the bar pretty high. Just cast "dirty splits" or "rump dump" and you'll see that he brought a certain something to the character that no one could (or should!) try to duplicate.

Nice to see the return of these. I'm a podcast junkie so hopefully this will give me a regular fix.

Also, get that podcast page up and running ASAP. I need more old podcasts to dig through. That "Coming Soon" page is SO GeoCities. Come on, Grundy. Use some of your piles of Ben Jordan money to get those old podcasts hosted properly!  

m_5_6: I'll meet you halfway on title. (Although to be fair, the game does unpack to a directory labeled "OSD: OCD"). Also, I've seen both the videos. I cheated my way to victory after a quick trip to the googles!
