Happy B-Day, Icey!

I've played so many ags games where the interface is intentionally complicated to make the game 'harder' and that's simply poor design.  If a person is playing an action game, for god's sake don't make them click an onscreen button to reload!

Hey now. That was a bit of brilliant game design on my part and in no way indicative of me being terribly lazy. No sir.  :=

You got nominated goddamn you! You owe this to me! You know how much money did I send to bicilotti?!

Shh! If everyone finds out, they'll know I'm trying to buy this election!

Also, kick ass presentation, Bicilotti.

* If you had to list 3 things that make up a good game what would they be?
Characters (this is the most important one to me. If I don't like the character, then no matter how good the story is, I can't get into it. [first person shooters exempted, of course]. Story. Dialog.

* What is it about a game that inspires you?
Cleverness. I love when a game makes me think in new or unusual ways in order to progress.

* What do you consider 'off putting' about a game?
Any time a game has a clumsy, emotionally manipulative moment. I hate ham-fisted attempts to make me feel something. That should flow naturally from the story and the dialog.

* Your Preference: Lucasarts or Sierra or other?
Indifferent.

* Mouse or Keyboard controls?
Indifferent.

* Anything else you can think of....
God Bless Texas. (And by that I mean the American Texas. Not the Texas that I just recently discovered that Australia has. Knock that off, Australia!) Also, the New York Jets should have gone to the Super Bowl. And most importantly, vote for my game in the AGS awards!!! I crave your love, AGS Community!!! :D

And please tell me what time/hours you'd be more likely able to attend the ceremony

I'm not sophisticated enough to attend things in cyberspace like you crazy kids do today. I can't afford one of those virtual reality suits and spinning chairs like I saw in that documentary The Lawnmower Man. Is there no chance we can get a downloadable ceremony like in years past? (For old farts like myself who avoid the information super highway because all you kids drive like maniacs?)  :'(

I see Ocean Spirit Dennis on the left on the main page.

Does Life Partner Ray know about this?!?!  :o

Has anyone here seen that old South Park episode where Mr. Garrison writes a book called "Valley Of The Penises"? This is like the video game version of that.   :=

Also, as this game clearly wasn't made with AGS, why is it in Completed Games?

Also we can determine if it's a previous/current AGSer using a new account and take action on both accounts.

Damn. There go my elaborate plans for the sudden appearance of dozens (possibly hundreds) of new AGSers demanding that "Barn Runner Deserves An AGS Award" just in time for voting to start.

You win this round, Mods! But I'll be back!

So rich and immersive, you won't even notice the shoddy physics! ;)  Very cute, but completists will want to know: Where does this fit into established Princess Marian canon? Is it Princess Marion XII? Or are you going all Square-Enix on us and making PM XI-2? We must know!!!

:'( Superheroes could have sparked some ideas...

Hey now, Stu. Don't be like that.  :-* It was a good idea. And the trophies were cool. Plus you had more entries than trophies, and that's not always the case with these things.

Happy B-Day Grundy and Snake!

matthewmcmurry. Loved the twist. (And my second vote goes to Zetsaika, because he was the only one to include a picture of his hero!)
#4273
Well, poop. The deadline is looming and I never managed to come up with a good idea. :P

I guess I'm not tenacious enough, Stu. (See what I did there? ;))

Well, I've made my nominations. And it made me realize how many AGS games I haven't played this year. :(

Oh well, I did my part. And you should do yours too. Now get out there and nominate something!*

TOO FUNKY TO GO UNCONSIDERED!

Fully Automatic Mojo
Multi game play modes! Multi levels! Multi awesome!

Duck Hunt shooting. Spy Hunter driving. Mario-style platform pipe action. Zombies Ate My Neighbors horde chase scenes. Myst pixel hunting frustration. My game claws desperately for such greatness while still missing the mark!

Fully Automatic Mojo is the shoddiest rip-off in the AGS database. Those games I listed were classics that stand the test of time. My game is shamelessly piggy-backing on them in what must surely be a desperate cry for help! That sort of audacious half-assery must be rewarded! Give me a reason to live by voting for me in the following categories:

* Best Non-Adventure Game (Because clearly that's the only thing I have a shot at!)
* Best Programming (That many arcade games under one hood wasn't easy!)
* Best Player Character (She's clearly not wearing a bra!)
* Best Character Art (Have you seen how tight her jeans are?!?)
* Best Dialogue Writing (Witty banter by the bucket load!)
* Lifetime Achievement In Mediocrity (This is my fourteenth AGS game in seven years and still no awards!!!)

Make 2011 My Year At Last!

Your vote will encourage me to keep half-assing it and ensure a steady flow of sub-par games that could have been much better had I only tried a little harder. Thank you, and goodnight.

What is AGS again?

It's a vitamin supplement or something. I'm not sure. All I know is that bicilotti is in charge of it, I think.
#4278
+ bicilotti for 1.

Good interview. The format was a little hard on the eyes, but otherwise very nice.

I'm going to have to give this one some serious thought because I really want that little trophy in my sig file.
