If the purpose is to show what AGS can do, then I submit the last level of my own Fully Automatic Mojo. At the higher difficulty levels, you're being chased by a horde of almost 50 monsters.

If it's just a showcase, then obviously Larry Vales, RON, OSD (the new RON), something by Yahtzee (Rob Blanc?), Spoonbeaks, Ben Jordan, Pleurghburg (hope I spelled that right), Charlie Foxtrot, Princess Marian, Annie Android, Blackwell, Fantabulous Wonderment, Bouncy Boxing, Shifter's Box, Ben & Dan, Permanent Daylight, and something by Icey ;)

That's all I can think of.

EDIT: Thanks, Frodo! :D

Since frustration is an emotion, I cast my vote for Limey Lizard: Waste Wizard. There were a couple of times that I thought I was going to pull my hair out. ;)

Other than that, I guess Eternally Us.

It's worth mentioning right away that the tutorial includes a guest appearance by the one and only Oceanspirit Dennis (and his identical evil twin Kurt)!  ;D

Holy poop! Oceanspirit Dennis has a twin?!?  :o

It's like two characters for one sprite. I foresee much use of this guy in future games!

Going to offer all three Blackwell games for $9.99 from the 20th to the 1st.  Haven't announced it yet, but will soon. :)

Sweet!  :D

Also you have an unnaturally strong fondness for all things Christmas, Ponch  :D

Speaking of...

I'll be hurt if you don't use it! ;)

Edit: And to anyone that doesn't love Christmas: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ysfQjKKi70 ;)

Why is it that I find Limpingfish's avatar slightly unsettling 11 months out of the year, but as soon as he slaps a Santa hat on him, it becomes incredibly adorable? :D

The hairless-osity of the hamster factor is countered by the fuzzy-acity of the hat matrix.

H(hr)- * HT(f)+ =  :D

Ah! So it's science! Adorable science!

I have a question.

Why is it that I find Limpingfish's avatar slightly unsettling 11 months out of the year, but as soon as he slaps a Santa hat on him, it becomes incredibly adorable? :D

Atelier missed the deadline by 62 minutes. And that's still within the margins of "fashionably late". So we have to let him in. I'm pretty sure that's international law!

And now we have four entries*, and that means someone gets to win that awesome crayon! (I hope it's me!)

* Come on, kconan. Let him slide in under the wire. It's Christmas time for goodness sake! (You don't want to get on Santa's naughty list this close to the big day, do you? I hear he strangles you in your sleep for things like this).

Start VOTING now!  I'll step in only if there is a tie.

I'll stake my claim to a third of the booty!

You have to write something first! If you don't enter, then nobody gets that awesome crayon! AND I WANT THAT CRAYON!!!

So get to writing already! I've seen the AGSville political map. You live in a castle on a huge private estate. You must have loads of leisure time. So pick up a pen and get to it! ;)

Dual: There are boobs in the Forever Friday. I can't just go around squeezing boobies into all my games! It would be unseemly! ;)

Blueknight and Dan: Thanks! Glad you liked it.

Tabata: Yeah, I know not everyone likes shooting. That's why this time I threw some driving and platform levels in there too. Good to know that helped win you over. Thanks for playing!

ProgZ: I award my self +1 AWESOMENESS for getting a game out the door before the end of the year. It was close, but I just made it. Also, I don't like to talk down to girls. I just give them a good spanking.

Calin: Thanks for making my little doodle of a game the Pick O' The Month. +1 AWESOMENESS for you as well.

Come on people. We need at least one more entry. Otherwise no one will win that awesome pirate crayon! :D

Is it really me posting this? **ponders**

Are you suggesting that we aren't twins, Mandarb? We have the exact same hats. That makes us twins!

Or are you suggesting that the inclusion of Ryan has made us... *gasp*... TRIPLETS?!?

General Discussion / Re: Politics in AGS
Sat 04/12/2010 15:34:10
Is it odd that I'm enjoying watching how AGSville fills in? The hippie-filled slums are getting crowded, naturally. And even CLUB AWESOME is starting to get a little crowded for my libertarian tastes. Meanwhile, the park in the middle of town is starting to assemble a motley collection of bums and drifters. (Good thing CLUB AWESOME is a gated community. That way they'll be forced to prey on the hippies over in the rent-controlled housing units to the West.) Babar and ddq have taken up residence under bridges, like the refined hobos that they are. Ali still hasn't decided whether or not he's going to jump or come in from his ledge. And Atelier seems to be settling in nicely in his enormous castle. I can't wait until the hippies work their nerve up and storm it in an attempt to turn his giant private swimming pool into some sort of communal and disease ridden public affair. And to the south, the mysterious, unexplored Quadrangle of Mystery awaits a collection of explorers bold enough to explore the sinister abandoned trailer parks that slumber in their overgrown lots.

At the moment, it's another great day in AGSville.

But dark clouds are gathering...

Ryan, as I understand it, what you're looking for in a pixelated backside is a high degree of pert and firmness. A more athletic digital booty, if you will. Well, you're in luck. In the world of Barn Runner, you can find such virtual bottoms on both The Chief and Debbie.

Figure 1.1 (A Two Dimensional Yet Somehow Pert Posterior)

Noriko, on the other hand is a bit more bottom heavy. That's because not every cartoon woman I draw is going to be a twenty-something hottie with the same cookie-cutter body.  (And also the woman I based her on in real life is a bit pear-shaped. She's quite pleased that her doppelganger has its share of fans.) For example, The Mayor is incredibly top-heavy. But the other Barn Runner women are a bit more reasonably endowed. If every woman in the game had the same body that wouldn't be as visually interesting to me. Attractive women come in lots of shapes and sizes.

I guess my point is that if I want to draw a woman with a big butt, I'll draw a woman with a big butt. ;)

But thanks for joining the discussion. (And for giving me a chance to post another picture of Debbie!) And thanks for playing the game. I hope you liked it. :)

Sure, Ryan. You can be in the club as well. And now that there's three of us, Gilbet will have even more reasons to be suspicious!

And Ponch ... I'm not sure I knew you were a twin? I am as well.

Awesome! Now we're in the super secret AGS Twin club! We'll have our own secret twin language and a secret handshake! I'll send you a map to my secret tree house tomorrow! :D

This is the best spoiler I've ever read and adds a lot of meaning to this whole game project.

At last! A Barn Runner game has meaning! Awesome! :D

As a player, I reserve the right to attack the ground. I should be allowed to miss as badly as I like. ;)

Also, I got he missing loop message too.
