Or maybe the Oceanspirit Dennis 'verse will now split into two parallel universes... or something...

Oh it did that a long time ago.

No single universe can contain Oceanspirit Dennis!

Well, your avatar is missing male bits...and is a cow rather than a bull.

THIS TELLS ME YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT SEX IS.

While it's true that I've never known the sweet, sweet love of a cow, I'll have you know that I'm getting better at OSD lovin' all the time.

I think those results speak for themselves! So look out, AGS Ladies. Ponch is "runner up" quality and on the prowl. *tiger growl*

Time to answer questions. The trophy anatomy is based mainly on which ending you chose and somewhat on your dialog choices. Trophy color is directly related to the difficulty unless...
Spoiler
you lose the sex minigame. Then the color gets dropped a notch or two.

Originally, the player had to go into the options menu to change the difficulty from the default medium. Probably the reason most people get gold is because HOLY SHIT THEY'RE AWESOME.

So you're telling me that the reason I got the bronze trophy is because I'm bad at sex? This is terrible news, and not at all the sort of thing I expected to hear from an AGS game. But this is an OceanSpirit Dennis game we're talking about. So it must be true.

I have to go lie down for a bit.

Bronze Boobs. Also, i notice from the polls that no one has gotten silver anything. Is it actually possible to get silver boobs? Or is this some sort of unattainable carrot on a stick? (Perhaps the silver dong would work better with that metaphor).

Thanks for this game. I may have to get off my ass and finish OSD: Archipelago Adventures now. :D

As always, another good interview. Now the world knows the true story of the origin of OceanSpirit Dennis! But... Can we handle the truth?!?

Damn it! Why did I have to be a work today! If I had known this was coming out, I would have called in sick!

Stupid bosses and their "no downloading and playing games" policy!

Cool. I must put on my nostalgia goggles!

It's weird, but I remember M.A.S.K. very clearly. Sadly, I never owned any of the toys (I was too old for toys when they came out in the mid 80s -- I was twelve or thirteen, I think). But one of my friend's kid brother had a bunch of them. Even though I was far too cool to say so at the time, I remember thinking that they were far more awesome than the rather clunky early generation Star Wars toys I had when I was little. I remember the big purple truck very fondly. That thing had a rocket launcher hidden in the sleeper cab that would shoot across the room.

In fact, I remembered it fondly enough to put it in a Barn Runner game!

There it is. Its name escapes me at the moment, but it's there next to Jack Burton's "Pork Chop Express". The big red rig from B. J. and the Bear is parked on the other side of the player's car.

Ah, memories. Thanks for them and all that. :D

(That kid also had the G.I. Joe aircraft carrier. Man, I remember that thing being as big as a sofa!)

I've been away for a bit, but now I'm back and catching up on all the AGS goings-on that I've missed, including these good interviews. Star Trek Newton is one of the few games I made time to play recently. I enjoy the way it nicely captures the retro look and feel of the old series (the only true Trek, in my opinion). Looking forward to the next interview!

Nice interview. Clearly SSH and Dual need to step up their game before they lose the lead in interviews.

You could always try a "Director's Cut" slider or something. Trim down the dialog to the game essential stuff for people who want a less talky version, but make it all available for people who like long conversations that make the world feel bigger (like me). I've started doing it with my games and it seems to have worked well enough.

Just a thought.

Is it incredibly sexy good news?

Make a platform or a non-adventure game fools!

An arcade game? Now that's something I can do! I'm in! :D

Well I've got more than a feeling...

Ah, I see what you did there! :)

Dualnames, Stupot, etc, call me stupid, but I honestly do not see the reason to fill this thread with nonsense. In fact, I find this teribbly annoying. Even more annoying than icey games' bad grammar.

Isn't what you do a violation of forum rules on its own?

I think this is just a matter of giving up on the kid.

And I'm not sure it would be the worst idea for others in the forum who are fed up to do the same.

I was just having fun and enjoying the rare opportunity to post something completely random. Personally, I hope icey works out. Remember when FlukeBlake was at his flukeblake-iest? And he turned out just fine. Once icey grows up a bit (and settles down a lot), I hope his enthusiasm will be a real asset to the AGS community.

In the mean time, however... Well, he can be a bit much sometimes (or most of the time), I'll admit. But I have hope. :)

Well, I disagree. I think that the Star Control games would make a GREAT movie. And if none of you can see that, then I wonder why we're talking about video game movies in the first place.

I'm still bitter about how bad those last couple of years of the X-Files were.

Your boobies are drawn exceptionally boob-like, Ponch.  They are but one reason I play your games, along with the ongoing comedic story and silly gameplay.  One day we will collaborate on the boobiest game ever, I know it.

Boobs.

Hooray for boobies! :D

Ponch:  Suck it up, pansy!  Your games are some of the most outright defiantly challenging around...especially if you want to keep up with the story and have to actually store all those damn game codes (I still have mine from the last game).  Glad you got silver, though.  It's a poor man's gold but still legal tender!

I appreciate the compliment, but the only thing challenging about my games is keeping up with the ongoing storyline. My puzzles are weak, sadly. But I draw boobies pretty well, so I can chalk that up in the win column, I think. Also, you still have your codes? Neat. Hopefully I'll get the next chapter done soon and you'll be able to use them.

Anyhoo, looking forward to your next game.

Hard Space is not to be taken seriously except for the puzzles, which are Hard because otherwise it would be Easy Space!

But I'm such a lazy space sort of guy!

Good game by the way. Haven't done better than silver yet, so here's hoping that gold in now within reach. :D

Finally got a chance to download this game yesterday. Not too far along yet, but nice work Dual. This game is bringing back a lot of memories of the original version. Nicely done. Thanks!
