To make it clear: AGS Editor sends anonymous system information to the server. This information includes: version of AGS and version of Windows. This makes us able to create this statistics to see which versions of AGS people use, and on which systems: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/stats.php
So by continuing to use v2.72 I'm flying under the radar and avoiding the watchful eye of Big Brother Blue Cup? :=

Avast is such a pain with AGS that I'm just in the habit of disabling my shields every time I fire up the editor. It's like a reflex at this point. I don't even think about it.

Another entry! Thank you, Blondbraid.

Thanks for the entry, Mandle. Hopefully, you will inspire more people to join in.

I'm trying, Stu! But that's a lot of games to play, man!

I'll consider all these points carefully before deciding one way or the other.
I respect your decision and would certainly never use my position as administrator of this event to pressure you into doing something you're uncomfortable with.

DO IT, MANDLE!!!
Goodness! I can't believe how shameless and insensitive Baron can be when it comes to the ongoing success of the FWC. (wrong)

I hope I can post it in time!
So do I. After an impressive early start that was both enthusiastically heartfelt and endearingly half-assed, things seemed to have stalled here at the FWC. I'm still hopeful that we'll smash all records for total number of entries, but I'm starting to have my doubts. :P

Happy b-days to selmiak and Dboy!

1) Stupot (great level of detail)
2) Kconan (a very nice, alien design that wouldn't look out of place in the film)
3) AnasAbdin (adorably grumpy)
Honorable mentions to Cassiebsg. If that had been a daggit, you'd have had my vote. :=

Great work all around. It's always fun to see all the pictures people can find inside a simple shape.

Still, a week left to pull something out.... What was the topic again?  (roll)
I feel like a conspiracy has been hatched against me...

Don't wisecrack with me, Kconan, or else I'll whomp you with my giant bag of pennies! :=
#593
Hooray! I wasn't left penniless! :cheesy:
#594
Thanks, Mandle! That's three entries in three days. We're on track to smash all records! :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:
#595
Thanks, Davzare. That's two entries in two days. My theory seems to be holding up. 14 entries, here we come! :cheesy:

1) Mandle (there's no puzzle it can't solve)
2) Blondbraid (for dealing out magical justice)
3) Kconan (with this widget, you can double the usefulness of the first two items. You'll be unstoppable!)
#597
An entry already? Gosh! And it's only the first day of the contest!

Extrapolating from this, I think we can all safely expect 14 entries by the time we reach the deadline! :=

Write a story in which something is broke or broken. It could be anything, a physical item or an abstract concept, just so long as it doesn't work the way it's supposed to. I leave it to you to decide, but you've only got until February 12 to break out your typewriters or quill pens and dazzle us with your words.

Extra double special bonus: There will be trophies! :=
