Yes, that animation is great!  :D. (specially when he "swallows the pain")
but, as you said, he is not supposed to be sufferding, since its not a wedgie. It´s more a kind of language-specific-visual-gag. (in spanish, when your girlfriend (or wife) rule your life and you do everything she wants, (and what she wants is abusive), you are called something like "big pants",and well, it sucks explaining these things with my crappy english. So let me answer Farlander in our language :):

QuoteA wedgie is when someone pulls your underwear up
Oh, thanks for explaining. I think i have seen that in The Simpsons.
QuoteIt's a painful school ritual
How cruel. Here in spain that is not very common. (but i´ve seen worse things)
QuoteNever been done to me personally though
sure, everybody says that  ;)  ;D
QuoteGoddammit flippy!
lol. I just imagined you saying that.
Quoteif his pants are being pulled up, then who is pulling them up
Ok, they are not being pulled, they are raising on their own. It´s supposed to be a visual gag, but i´ve just realized it might be language specific  :-\ so i dont know  ???

PS: sorry for the quoty (sp?) post

Thanks, after reading your posts, i trust you and i´ll go with the second one.
And i have added the arm, as MrColossal and Pessi said. (thanks, i forgot that :))

Hope it´s finished now!
QuoteAre his pants being pulled up too high or something?
Yes, that was it!  ;D I just was not sure because when i asked my sister (the only one i asked about it) she didnt know what was happening. (and yes, they're being pulled too high, as high as it can. thats the armpits :))
And, what does this mean??:
QuoteI think he's being given a wedgie
My english is poor, and i can hardly understand anything apart from "to be" verb and "up","down","green" and those sesame street words. :-\

Quotewhen i do will people give c&c rather than tell me to turn it into a jpg?
SURE!!  ;D
And, a piece of advice:
If your image is less than 256, turn it into a GIF
If your image is 16 bit (or 24) colour, turn it into a PNG
jpg is a lossy compression format, so it might (and it will) degrade the quality of your images.

 how about that?:

(quick edit)
That curvature at our left part of his face is what made her look the way i posted before, i think

Or you can use the anonymizer thingie, it works with tripod/lycos. (its in the help sticky thread, i believe)
I know NOTHING about manga, (so dont take this seriously) but it seems to me as if the face shape were drawn like if she were looking to her right, and the facial features are drawn facing to us.  ( i hope this to make any sense with my crappy english)
Also i think the eyes are a bit big for manga style, but if you are not trying to emulate the style perfectly, i would keep it, they look sooo good.

Quoteeh what you got against BMP's?
¿why people in internet use MP3 instead of WAV? ¿what have they got against WAV´s?? ;)

I wasn´t saying that you shouldn´t make the lines curved, just that the curvature you gave to them doesn´t help for cartoony style. Sometimes they are bent in the opposite direction, sometimes they are too bent, IMO.
I think it looks a bit better with the coloured floor  :)
EDIT: and the chair and the table are drawn as if viewed from above

QuoteAny ways to make furniture look.. eh.. real?
Shade it!!  :D now it is all the same gray

i think there are various thing you could improve:
the perspective is off.Cartoony graphics often have distorted, exaggerated perspective, which is not off-perspective, i hope to make sense. Very much curved lines does not make cartoony style. This is the thing that most bothers me about the bg.
The outlines are too messy. Try to clean them a bit. It seems as if you drew it, scanned it, and filled the white spaces directly, and there are some white pixels caused by the scan antialiasing. Work with layers if you can, there are many tutorials on colouring scanned drawings.
Now, i think that the colours you have used doesn´t fit very well.
Also, floor, ceiling and walls are the same color, which looks a bit boring, try to use different colours in each one and see if it looks better.
I hope it helps  :)

i like them all, but my favourites are #5 and #4 (in this order)
(#4 is hot! you could make her fight with buffy in a pool full of mud)
#373
it´s on the menu>image>mode>table of colours (maybe the names aren´t the same, since i don´t use the english version, it´s in the same menu in which you choose between color modes)
#374
it´s the same post as this: http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?board=6;action=display;threadid=6118
Make sure you do what Jimi said in that post, cos it´s the way to do it. There must be some point you are not doing properly, it should work perfectly.

i tried a different approach:
i tried to do the lines a bit more curved and blurrier.
(the animation is a bit slower than the original)

i think (note that 'i think' is underlined, wait for the art guys to come) he is meaning that shadows casted (sp?) by the sun, should follow a parallel projection so, the outer lines of the shadow of the window should be parallel.
About the bg, amazing. It would be near impossible to make somehing that looked better than that with sooooo low resolution. And it would look also awesome even with 20 colours!! (i tried it :))
#379
nope. if it were how would i make it 16 bit colour?? ;D ;)

when i´m editing guis, i cant see anything if the game is set at 16-bit color. My game and all the graphics are at this color depth, and when i have to edit a gui, i must switch to 256 col., edit the gui and then switch back to 16 bit. otherwise, i see all painted gray (default windows front color, same as the rest of the gui editor window) where its supposed the gui to be seen.
If i scroll the part where the gui should be seen, or i move the floating properties window over that area and then move it away, sometimes i can see the gui under i placed the floating window, o the bit of the gui that have been scrolled. (i hope this make any sense)
it happened to me with the earlier versions of ags i tried, didn´t happen with 2.4 (i think) and then it happens again.
Its not a big problem to switch between colour depths, so if it's not fixed it will be ok.
Anyone has the same problem??
