I was thinking more in the lines of removing the grating, either by giving it a good kick (the screws are corroded), or by using that rung as a leverage to bend it away from the wall.

> Remove grating with rung

> Kick grating in frustration.

I'm kinda stuck with no real clue as to what to do next.

Spoiler

I have the "Tiny Key", and know the password.
I've mended my spacesuit at the tailor.
i have a shitload of inventory items, some are unused, some are probably duplicates (stuff i've used and lost and then picked up again.)

Still havn't found a use for the Detergent, the magazine, or the colacan.
Can't figure out how to get to the bridge.
Can't figure out how to get into the locked door beside the robots.

so a small hint on where to go next would be nice  ;D

Ty!

solved my problem.. hadn't figured out that they used the NormalFont for display, and i'd been mucking about with my fonts..

Using latest AGS 3.2.1 i think.. and the Empty game (so there really is NO guis by default), since i'm trying to learn what different stuff does..
Guess i'll just have to build my own GUI to handle the load/save/quit stuff.. but it seems really silly somehow..

It should be a property on the GUI editor called "Text colour" (or TextColor, or TextColorNumber - depending on version of AGS used); just click on the text whose colour you want to alter.
But the default dialogs arn't in there.. only stuff i made myself..

Game.NormalFont = eFontFont1; (or whichever font you want) changes Display text
Game.SpeechFont=eFontFont8; (or whichever font you want) changes text for speech
This is what I'm doing right now.. but that only selects which font.. not the color... so its still black...

This is prob a n00b-thing but i cant find how to do it..

Im trying to change the color of the text displayed in the default dialogs.. with no luck...
its still black.. with a black border... which makes it look really ugly.

Ok, im very new to this, so go ahead and shoot me :)

Im trying to start up a project using 640x400 screen size. What i dont get is that everytime i make somwthing new the size is always set to 320x200 and i end up having to change it and reimport it. My mouse-coordinates range sometimes from 0-320 and sometimes 0-640. Sometimes when importing a new image everything is doubled and only a quarter of the image seems to be shown when actually running the game.  ???

I tried making a new gui. and when i set the width of the gui to 640 i end up getting strange errors about size being "larger than screen size"

Since lots of people have done games in 640 widh i guess im doing something strange, but i just cant seem to get this to work. Started several projects and everytime i soon start getting theese problems.
And im not really happy having a gui that has every pixel doubled in size since this just looks horrible.

anyway. i feel like quite a noob here :) so any help would be appriciated.

Don't know if this is the place to post bug-reports but here goes.

got following error when trying to create a blank new game using beta 8.
I'm running Vista Ultimate with Swedish Language-settings.
Error is "String not valid DateTime-string" prob due to parsing swedish date-format.
