i'm making a website with "Parodied" comics, based on game characters, TV Characters,
etc.
Anyway, just thought i'd post up some of the material.

nothing funny to say so i'll cut to the proverbial chase.
when i script music1.mp3 to play on room load 304, when i go to test it a message comes up saying: cannot play music1.mp3, because it is an LFN file. What's an LFN file, and how can i fix up this problem??

I could barely believe my ears when i heard that the Simpsons Season 16 won no emmys. No, wait, i could. Season 16 was kinda crappy. I know this has been discussed before (in a thread I created i believe), but what exactly do you think is the formula, and does this happen to all animations that do not cancel when appropriate, like futurama.
For example, while Family Guy remains a funny animation, compare a Season 4 ep with a Season 2 ep, and you'll notice some differeneces.
Then there's South Park, now in its 9th Season i believe, lacks the insanely funny quotes, acts etc. of Season 1 up to about Season 6.
The doom of animation is upon us!!!

Hey peoples,
For a recent homework assignment, we had to create a group activity that would appeal to one of the following groups:
1. Video Gamer
2. Athlete
3. Fashioner
4. Musichead

I chose 1., and i decided to do a game where there was a distorted videogame character, ranging from 1990-Present.
This worked pretty well, and there were a few different levels of difficulty, there was Easy ( Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog etc.) which pretty close to 100% of the class knew. Then there was Medium (Tommy Vercetti, CJ, Wario) which around 75% of the class got, and then there was Hard (Guybrush Threepwood, Alex Kidd and Shinobi), which only a few got.
Anyway, it got me thinking we should do something like this as a competition!
Get a videogame character, distort it (pixelation, colour switcharoos etc.)
What do you guys think?
If i get a decent amount of OKs i'll start a thread in the Competition forum.

hey,
i have a GUI that opens when you press the Escape key, which pauses the game and comes up with objects like Save, Load etc.
I made one for Main Menu but it isn't working. i get the message: Parse error at '0', but the number 0 isn't used in the whole line!!
This is what i have under

function Load_Click(GUIControl *control, MouseButton button):
{ STEWIE.ChangeRoom (303, 999, 999);

is this what i should be putting?

For those of you who don't know, Warhammer 40,000 is a miniature strategy game, i've just started. At first i thought it was Australia only, then i realised it was practically worldwide, so i thought i'd make a thread. So, does anyone on the forums play?

I am so screwed.
For a science project (due in about 3 days) i need to know the composition of all the earth's layers.
That's the % of everything that makes up the earths Inner Core, Outer Core, Mantle, Crust, everything!
I've checked almost every website on the topic,
called so many friends it's not funny,
but to no avail.
If anyone knows a website where this information may be obtained or has a book on the topic or knows at least some of this information off the top of their head that'd be great.

After 13 years of being paid out about being short,
i've had a pretty big growth spurt.
While it's not drastic (about 75% of the class are taller than me)
it's a lot better.
I CAN ACTUALLY WALK DOWN A HALLWAY WITHOUT A YEAR 9+ MAKING A JOKE ABOUT MY HEIGHT!

Hey people,
i have a bit of a technical problem with Paint Shop Pro 8.
During a war over control of the computer, my little sister pressed something or rather on PSP which hid one of the toolbars. That toolbar was incredibly crucial. The toolbar was the one where you select which shape to use when inputting a Preset Shape, or where you select which tube to use when selecting a Picture Tube.
I have searched and questioned and checked every single manual, but i cannot find how to get it back.
If anyone can help, it'd be appreciated.

ONIMUSHA: DAWN OF DREAMS
Yeah, another Onimusha Game! HEY, wait a minute! Didn't they say the the Onimusha series was a trilogy? Oh well, from the screenies it looks pretty cool, and this fourth game should live up to the last three Oni titles.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE LEGEND OF JACK SPARROW
Haha, DizzyDancer asked not too long ago 'Will anyone ever make a POTC game'?
Well, good news Dizzy, although no screenies have been released, it looks like it's shaping up to be a pretty cool pirate experience. Completely interactive levels, inwhich you can interact with pretty much everything in the level, from trees to building doors and shitloads more. Wicked.

TAXI DRIVER
Anyone who loved the movie, this picks up right after it. It's a pretty hardass action title, which should make musthave lists for fans of games that like The Getaway.

JAWS: UNLEASHED
Speaking of Movie-to-games, Jaws: Unleashed is looking pretty good.
In this game you play the shark, and have to escape humans like Marine Biologist Michael Brody, who wants to capture you for research. I can't wait to play it.

TEEN TITANS
Haha, this looks like any 6-10 year old's dream game!
Based on the Cartoon Network cartoon of the same name, you can play as each of the characters, and as far as i know inherit their powers.

THE GODFATHER
Another Movie-to-game! You relive the movie action, but create your own character (with advanced customisation tools of course) to play through as. You'll need to intimidate and slowly crawl your way to the top. Looking good!

BULLY
A lot of people have heard about it, but Bully from Rockstar is looking like a fantastic game! This is high school, boots 'n' all, with overthetop missions including a hell of a lot of head bustin'. All the usual highschool stuff is there, pulling pranks, getting the crap kicked out of you (and then some) and of course, escape from teachers. A great game from a great gaming company.

HITMAN: BLOOD MONEY
A new step in the incredible Hitman series, Hitman: Blood Money is looking like one fine game. Instead of the 'Kill for no good reason' routine, there is an intense plotline, and when you make hits, this time you get paid for them. The money you earn from hits will allow you to buy new weapons, armour etc. Looking good, definitely one to watch out for.

Well, there's plenty more fantastic games coming out next year, but hopefully this will keep your tastebuds tantilized for at least a while.

Hey everyone!
Yesterday my muchneeded vacation really began, and for around 8 more days, i am on the Pacific Sun. We are going to Vanuatu, Noumea, thAt sort of stuff. I'm  in the netcafe. Anyway, i thought i'd write a bit of a log.

Day 1
Well, todays teh day, we head out. we went to the pizzaplace. Me and my best mate Alex went to the arcade where a selection of new & old (A slightly batterd NeoGeo!) awaited us. They stuffed up our dinner arrangements, but, these things happen.
Well, i'm about to go get some sleep, so seeya.

Day 2
A breakfast of Pancakes and Maple syrup. Tasted pretty nice, especially with Pineapple on it. We headed to the Pools, where they have a wicked slide. Well , gotta go eat.

i'm a huge fan of the Driver Series. I've completed Driver, completed Driver 2, completed Driv3r, found every secret in Driver, found every secret in Driv3r and posted in countless Driver/Driver2/Driv3r forums. Now i'm bored. Does anyone know if and when a Driver 4 will be made, and if any one has some concept screenies?

Hey everyone,
i haven't really delved into the artistic side of PCs yet, but when a mate had a garage sale and needed to sell a pretty recently purchased Paint Shop Pro Version 8, i took my chance. For $30, it was a decent deal. So, within minutes i was home, frantically installing PSP8. I've now done my first quick PSP Image, and while it does use a variety of preset Picture Tube images, it looks pretty cool. Check it out below.

i was wondering:
1. Can i make the room change (room A to room B) seamless? What i mean is, without that black screen that comes between two rooms? Or, if this is not possible...
2. Can i make that black loading screen customized, for example, can i change it with a room that says 'Loading' or something like that?

sorry to ask, but i have tried 6 upload sites, all with no possible wmv. upload enabled.
