Wed 17/01/2007 21:05:41
Is there any way to go to a 'random' room with AGS?
Cheers,

General Discussion / Videocard Help
Mon 08/01/2007 04:30:09
Okay, i opened my device manager today to find that, for some reason, my RIVA TNT2 64 had Problem Code 10, 'This Device Cannot Start'.
I have:
*Uninstalled and reinstalled it
*Downloaded all possible updates and drivers for it
*Looked inside my PC for anything wrong, eg. the card having cracked
*Done basically everything else my troubleshooter tells me.
Does anyone know how i could remedy this, as it is really beginning to annoy me.
Cheers,
Fluke.
PS-Does Counter-Strike (the original CS) require a videocard at all?

This game was brilliant. But too short. As in, THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE MEASUREMENT OF TIME KNOWN TO MAN.

Oh, but when i say the Half-Life Mod, i meant the commercial version  that was released standalone.

Hey, so i'm about to descend into conformity and take up Counter-Strike. However, i have a slight problem, that being if my videocard will be up to scratch. My videocard is an nvidia riva tnt2, the generic one that came with the computer.
Will this be enough?

I would buy it, but alas, my videocard is primitive. PRIMITIVE.

Hey, so i'm going to be in the market for an mp3 player soon, and i've decided to bow down to conformity and get an iPod. Anyway, i was wondering, does the 2nd Genaration Nano's have the ability to buy and store games through the iTunes iPod game-purchase system?

Redo:

Here i did just the changes, but not adjusting the, erm, "end region".

Redo 2:

And here i did adjust it, though not as good as i would like to eventually get it.

Fluke.

2. Uninstall your drivers.
Are you referring to all drivers or simply the videocard drivers?

I have the latest version of DirectX, and have reinstalled it.
It happens in both. No matter what Game Setup options i tweak, nothing changes the situation.
Other games, eg. freeware games not made with AGS, Commercial games, run fine.

Some of you may rember a thread i posted a while ago, stating that whenever i played an ags game, i would be greeted with a blank black screen. I have taken a screenshot. I have attempted a lot of things in a try to fix this problem.

System Requirements:
*System*
-Microsoft Windows XP
-Home Edition
-Version 2002
-Service Pack 2

*Computer*
-Intel Pentium III Processor
-731MHz
-256MB of RAM
-NVIDIA TNT2 Model 64/Model 64 pro

I realise i asked this earlier, and may come under attack for this, but i thought this would be better than reviving an already old thread. However, if you wish to read the old thread, you can find it here .
Anyone who thinks they can help, it would be extremely appreciated.
Cheers,
Fluke.

Yeah, about that.
I realise there isn't not much variety.
It's mainly been developed for background to a live song, with guitars and drums and whatnot.
So, with this knowledge, crit away.

General Discussion / New Comp Idea - 3D
Fri 08/12/2006 09:51:43
So, i've noticed the lack of any sort of 3D comp in the Competitions part of the forums.
I propose the following:

-------------------------------------------------
                3D THURSDAY
-------------------------------------------------
*Competitions last one week.
*Competitions begin two weeks after the completion of the previous.
*The host gives a general object, eg. a guitar, or turtle.
*Entrants use a 3D Graphic program (like Anim8or)
*The host selects the best, and they, er, win.

Please tell me whether or not you think this could work.
Cheers,
Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider Fluke
