You walk down a park when, suddenly, a grenade flies out and destroys a small animal. Dead animals? It must be the Max Payne bank level!!

General Discussion / Family Guy Videogame
Thu 12/10/2006 23:43:53
So, the official "Family Guy" videogame launches in the US in not too long, and I myself recently pre-ordered it. I've been checking out the official site and from the screenies, it looks pretty awesome.
Some FMV's have also been posted on Youtube, just search "Family Guy Videogame".
I for one think that a family guy game is well overdue, and am excited to see that from the videos i have seen of it, the humor of the TV show is  maintained in the game.
What are your thoughts about this game??
Cheers,
Flukezy.

General Discussion / Seek And Dread
Tue 10/10/2006 01:18:01
Seek And Dread is a Map-based Online Shooter along the lines of Counter-Strike. It is played from a top-view perspective and is a pretty awesome game. There are a myriad of maps, scenarios and weapons, and it is pretty enjoyable. Now, I realise this may sound a little like Spam, but really, this is a fun game! Anyone on the forums already play??
Cheers,
Fluke.

Err, no, just the text-messagy sort of stuff like "jst" and "r you srs" etc.
EDIT: By the way, put up the first scene of the second episode in the original post.

It's going to be a series. First off we'll do maybe 3-5 eps, call it a season or whatever, and then the voice-actors/me want to make it an ongoing season or cut it off there.
#171
Allright, once I edit up the script a little (at the moment it's in shorthand and illegible "blake-speak". ;D
Oh, and by the way, I think I'll do the Bob role.

Hmm. Although I recall you're no graphics master, people will want to see an example of the cartoon before giving you voices.
Will post some footage tomorrow when I'm conscious  ;D

Episode 2 Scene 1 Script
Howdy.
I recently finished up an episode of my soon to be started
web-cartoon, "The Adventures Of Bob, The Baked Bean" which details the life of a baked bean. Word.
I currently need 4 voice-actors for the following parts:

"Peece the Greenbean"(female)-One of Bob's friends, Peece is a string bean who has an optimistic view of life.

"Joe the Coffee Bean"(male)- Another of Bob's personal friends, Joe is a coffee bean who is claustrophobic, due to his mother being put inside a coffee machine and crushed when he was a young age. Nevertheless, he is rather tough and streetwise.

"The Aliens"(???) - A group of cloned aliens who monitor Bob, Joe and Peece constantly through hidden cameras.

"Pazz the Assassin"(male)- Pazz is an assassin who was hired by a shady organization to kill Bob, for reasons unknown"

If anyone can help provide a voice for one or more of these characters, please PM me, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Flukezy.

Perhaps the problem lies in obscurity. I've often discussed games with my dad, and he is genuinely interested in my teenage ventures.
As a result of this, my parents have an understanding that games do not torture the soul with images of bloodshed and Chris Jones' childhood home (oh, that one's a little TOO scary  :o).

Heh, Andail, you shouldn't quote the whole post, especially if it has a picture in it. Oh, the irony!!

I recently played Simcity, which is good because they now want to ban it. It features the breaking of federal building regulations, see.

Obi-Brilliant, IMO that Master Chief is kickass!

vict0r-Pretty cool, if a little simple.

Neil Dnuma-I enjoyed this! Lanlanlanlanlanlanlan....

But, only one of the four entries can be crowned the winner of the last ( :'() comic comp, and that winner is....
Tuomas!
So...yeah, that wraps it up.
