Critics' Lounge / C and C on char

Howdy.
This is the main character of my soon to be released adventure game, Tommy Fuzz.
I took a lot of the inspiration from Max from Sam & Max, and then threw in some 80's Action Cop Show stuff.
Some C+C appreciated.
Cheers,
Fluke.

Awesomenessness!(Just TRY proving it isn't a word. I'll sure you into jail, asshole!)
Call me a n00b, but just out of curiosity, which one are you?
The most logical guess is Matt Barker, but could someone quell my curiosity?

I dare call someone goth when they've painted their face white and eyelines black or something, in addition to black clothes, black hair and a ton of chains hainging on the belt. Because that's what, to my understanding, a goth person actually is... I only have the black clothes and chains parts :P
Well said.  :)

Just one question: what colour clothes were you wearing at the time, Fluke?
My school uniform. Navy, light blue, and grey. Not a dark black in sight.

Oh, so you're a goth?
How did what i say imply that?
And BOYD, i know for a fact she WASN'T joking.
And btw, i did explain to her that rock music and gothic/emo lifestyles are different, but it annoys me all the same.

General Discussion / This pisses me off

So i was conversing with a friend of a friend the other day, and the subject soon turned to music.

Them: What kind of music do you like?
Me: Um, Metallica, Megadeth, Slipknot, basically any kind of metal or rock.
Them: Oh, so you're like a goth.

Now this pisses me off to insane extent. If someone were to tell you that they enjoyed listening to RnB, you wouldn't instantly assume that they carry a large boombox, breakdance and wear parachute pants.
Needless to say, I abruptly told her that i was not, in fact, gothic, and that she was a stereotyping bitch.
Anyone got any comments?
Cheers,
Fluke.

'Lo.
So, i'm going to buy some hosting and a domain in about a week, and, as you do, am preparing everything for it.
Now, i wanted to find an IRC program that's integrated into the site, through HTML or java or something.
And i did.
I find it incredibly easy if you want a single 'room, yet complex enough if you need it.
Cheers,
Fluke.

Yes, Family Guy and American Dad are made by the same person, Seth MacFarlane.

General Discussion / Have you Noticed?

So i was watching American Dad the other day and it got me thinking. A lot of people classify AD as a derivative of Family Guy. Now, some people classify family guy as a derivative of Futurama, which is classified as a derivative of The Simpsons, which is classified as a derivative of The Flintstones, WHICH is classified as a derivative of the Honeymooners!
Anyone noticed this!?
Please comment!
Cheers,
Fluke.

Yeah, what's the deal with that??
Is there some sort of spiritual uprising going on?
Should i relocate to a nicer forum, maybe one with the view of the beach? That's it! I'm leaving!!
Cheers,
Fluke.

I've never heard AGS talked about on TV, newspapers, magazines(with the exception of that awesome Hyper article!), or radio, the reasons for this are probably twofold.

1. I am 14 years of age.
and
2. I live in Australia.

I can't really imagine a cutscene with this kind of music.
Perhaps not a serious tense cutscene, but perhaps a sort of cutscene that sets the mood. Birds are screeching. Cars are being driven etc.
Sort of like the opening sequence in DRIV3R, which, coincedentally, had a lot of the game in Istanbul!
