Project Entropia.. isnt that the game where some dude bought an in-game island for $25000?

yeah, you're right, he bought the ingame island for real money. It was in the news and that as i reacall. Even now, about a year later, it is a good holiday spot for players of Entropia. He sort of is getting the money back because he rents it, sells revenue etc.

it's really good. it is a pretty big download (the only bad thing) but the walkable game space rivals GTA:SA, yes you read right. IT RIVALS GTA:SA IN WALKABLE GAME SPACE! Anyhoo, here is a link if you want to get started.

Cheers,
Blake

PS: If you have ever played The Matrix Online (or MxO as it has been dubbed) this game is really similar.

PPS: For all of you who are short on cash and live in US, then Projet Entropia could be an answer. If you get employed by someone in the virtual universe, you can convert the money you make in the game into REAL US DOLLARS! Similarily, if you are short on cash in the game, you can convert US Dollars into Project Entropia Dollars (PEDs).

Hey,
I won't be playing much now that i've got exams underway, but does anyone on the Forums play? I'd love to meet up with them and trade info. So far, I'm pretty much a nOOb to Calypso, and i'm still stuck in that Forest Sort of place... not to mention the fatc that i've got my ass kicked by other players about 6 out of the 7 times i've played Entropia so far.

My GUI is stuffing around so that's out.
I need:

Ctrl+S (or similar) : Save Game
Ctrl+L (or similar) : Load Game
Ctrl+B (or similar) : Go Back to main menu

Blake

okay, before any more people put a post up like Vince's, i HAVE finished the Simpsons Trivia Game.  I'm looking for a [decent] server, and while i am at it, working on That Underground style game. I have decided to tweak it, so, rather than skateboards, you have the ability to get on or off a Motorbike, which will need less programming because you only switch views, and you can only do a few tricks, like a Burnout, which wouldn't requie massive scripting.
Just clearing up what needs to be cleared up.

hey,
i have been working on the planning stages of my new game project, Punks, which follows you going around, doing stuff for people, running from cops and so on. The Game is Tony Hawk's Underground-esqe, and that's what im here about. I have been thinking about putting a skateboard in. In other words, you'd ride your board instead of walking and running everywhere. But, obviously, that is incorporated in Underground. So, should i put in the boards or stick with on-footing?

behold, go back on the comic and Zor is different, and the characters are switched.

Don't worry, the new and improved EDITED version of AGS: The Comic is in production. Give me another 20 minutes and Zor won't be black, CJ will be Mark, and... well those are gonna be the only changes but anyhoo.
#730
well, seeing as only visually seen about 0.4% of you guys, i pretty much just guessed. Woops. Oh well. By the way, gnomz allows you to create your own comics to publish, so maybe some more people can make some.
Registration is neccessary however*.

Perhaps Adventure Game Studio: The Comic II is in order... and i promise Farlander will be in it*.

* Not a genuine promise.

Hey, i found a website where you can create your own comic with your own characters and i decided i'd make one about CJ and Mark going inside the Internet.
There are loads of AGS Members in it , including Yours Truly, Zor, Kinoko and more.
There are also loads of famous faces such as Neo, Spiderman, Batman, and plenty others.
To view the comic go here

Can anyone tell me some decent emulator sites? I got stacks of Roms from my mates, all for either Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, NES or SNES. Now i just need to download some decent emulators so i can play the damn things.
Cheers,
Blake
