I have just registered and im having problems i need some help with....

I have many pictures saved to my computer but they are JPG's,
And under avatar in your profile its written http:/....
I was wondering if some1 can guide me and show me how to list my kewl avatars..,

I just registered with AGS and I am fixing up my profile....
I was wondering how to change my avatar,
It has a http:/ in the box ?.....
I am confused because my avatars are probably all JPG's...
Can some1 please help me with this very easy problem.,
