I managed to play GF through about two or three times on my last PC, a 450MHz PIII. I tried to play it again recently-ish on my newer 2GHz machine and I got about halfway through and it crashed and ate my savegames :O

I'm rereading the Xanth series, by Piers Anthony. I started at the end of January and I'm already on Swell Foop, which is #25 in the series. After this, I'll probably reread his Adept series, or maybe Spider Robinson's Callahan series again.

I did up to 24 in 3/4 of a year, then I got bored of it.

Right now, I'm reading "The Theroy of Everything" by Steven Hawking.  Better than his first two.  The intro is the only thing that drags on, yet it's only 2 pages.

Yes, see a doctor, or you might end up paying insane amounts to do pretty much the same thing in an emergency room one night...

Plus, seeing a doctor is cheaper than an emergency visit.  If it is serious, they might be able to save you now, while it's still in the monor stages.  Do everyone you know and yourself a favor, go see a doctor.

You bet your life it is!  I live a few hours away from it!  Oh, don't eat at any place called "Ma's" or "Pa's".  Don't go to a motel, go to a hotel.  Don't rely on the memory of natives, bring a map.  Use US currency and don't call anybody a "Yank" or "A silly American" or other names like that.  Use "Porta-Potties" or public restrooms as little as possible.  Don't be afraid of people, most will help you out.  Plus, always bring your towel!

Kids these days smoke in schools, do drugs, deface property, steal, and other unspeakable acts of unjustness.  Why do they do this?  They do because they won't get in serious trouble.  Suspension, they say "YAY"!  They'd rather be in their room making a bong.  Detention, good time to write stuff on the desks.  You can see, they don't see the physical side of this.  The human body accociates pain with the experiance.  If they had a physical punishment, they'd eventually stop.
