Forget adventures, has Sierra done ANYTHING good lately?

No, Sierra hasn't done anything good since they QUIT making adventure games.  

Sierra was intended to do adventure games.  Just like Maxis was intended for simulators.

At very least I wish they'd sell their old games.

Hmmm... Nothing really comes to mind for me...

If I had to pick the adventure game I liked the least it would probably be KQ7.  I don't hate it but it could have been much better.  Never played KQ8, it just look too much "shoot 'em up" and not enough King's Quest.

I never purchased QFG5 becuase I knew it would be the same stuff as KQ8.

It's so sad that Sierra's last adventure games were so poor. I miss the good old Sierra.

I know Flippy, I've done scans before but never detected anything. (Probably becuase it's a trojan!)

No, I want the player to be able to control all actions of the NPC, wich becomes the player character when selected, including the inventory and stuff.  The selection icon is a standard function.
All the player has to do is select it and click it on the NPC he wants.  Then he just clicks the walk icon and so on.

I can't reveal exactly what I'm doing until I'm sure it will all work out.

Yeah, but I keep getting an error saying "Trojan infected IPs, will hit some innocent users" or something. Then it says I was G-Lined.

I could probably do this on my own but It'd take awhile to figure out!

Anyway, I want the player to be able to move some NPCs around by clicking a custom cursor on him, and then using the walk cursor where he wants him to go.

So here is how it should work:

The player uses the "select this character" cursor on the NPC and then clicks the walk icon on any walkable area and the NPC will go there.

Any way this can work easily?

I've had a difficult time connecting to an IRC server but when I have been able to nobody was on the AGS channle!!!

Is anybody really there or is there something wrong with my server connection or what?

I think one of my all time favorite directors is Robert Zemeckis. (Back to the Future movies, Cast Away, Forest Gump and more)

I also enjoyed Lasse Hallstrom's What's eating Gilbert Grape.  Though I haven't really seen any other Hallstrom films.
