Quotetheres lots of amazing artwork on here but its eather really realistic or its like the oldschool sierra style with lil blocky dudes nothing really cartoonish

Your kidding right? No offense to the artists of AGS, but I have yet to see a game produced by AGS with realistic images. Not that I believe its easily possible, expecially because most of the images for games are produced on simple paint programs. So unless you take actual photographs for backgrounds and spirits (which I think a few people did, but I am afraid I didn't bother to play those games) it doesn't look realistic. Which, I think, is not really a bad thing.

I agree. Its like smoking or any other harmful habit. er.....on second thought, maybe smoking isn't the right analogy, but you get my point. (Walkthroughs don't give you cancer or turn your lungs into gooey blobs of tar.) Generally I don't download the newest games and then try and find all the answers for the tough puzzles on the Hints forum before I even begin playing, but I bet some people do. I DO use walkthroughs (when available) when I get really stuck and I don't feel like spending and hour trying to decipher a problem which won't make much sense once I solve it anyway.

As far as walkthroughs go, they are VERY good things which benifet everybody. Why you ask?
1. The player doesn't need to spend hours searching through page after page in the forums to seek the exact thing they have a question to. (because we yell at them if they start a new thread. :D)
2. Players don't need to repeatedly answer the same questions over and over again.
3. I've had this happan to me time and time and time and time again. While searching for the exact hint I need, all the other events in the game which I havn't seen yet become clear from the other questions.

"Hey! Does anyone know how to open the locked door in the secret tunnel under the circus which you can only get to once you pass through the jungle of dispair and desert of ultimate chaos? Because all I have is the pack of condoms and a foam bat."

GAH! I didn't even know there WAS a desert....and now the whole game is spoiled! ;)

and 4........it saves space on the forums so there isn't need of so many threads.

Anyway....thats my little speach. I don't see one thing wrong about walkthroughs or why there shouldn't be one. Its just the same as this hints forum, only alot more efficent. And like smoking, go a head and do it if you want, but don't blow the smoke in my direction. I can buy my own cigerattes if I want to kill the fun.

*scratches head* I think I remember having problems with that too way back when I played that game. If it still doesn't work, try using the whistle with yourself, using the whistle with the wolf? Maybe use the talk command with the whistle? If you can do that. maybe I'm not being very helpful. :P Just ignore me.

QuoteYou should see my mic though.. it started out as a headset mic.. then the wire snapped removing sound from the right ear (which doesn't bother me cos i have no hearing in that ear) then the actuall headset fell off leaving me with just one earpiece with a mic sticking out.. which amazingly still works... ... A pointless story which is no way helpfull to you but Is nice to tell all the same

Lmfao. Yeah, I have a head set too, but the ear pieces just stopped working all of a sudden (which really pissed me off) so I stopped using the thing. Then, a few months later I pick it up to discover that the mic still works [wohoo] but I have no idea if its the same quality that it used to be. I don't record by voice alot so......but anyway.....why am I posting this again?

QuoteAs for the whole "moron" issue, I think we're being a little too pedantic about the exact definition.

Oh shaddup. You know what you are? Your a city of eastern Argentina, an industrial suburb of Buenos Aires! Yeah! Take that! Oh, you just got burned! :P

QuoteI don't have one....it crapped out a couple years ago, but I never used it anyway....

I always called it the "Disk Drive"...

I call it a Disk Drive I guess, but I also don't say it outloud very often. Only to the voices in my head.

"Hey Shelly, I see your back from vacation. Did you see any nice A drives in florida?"

"Hi Tom! How are the kids and your floppy drive doing?"

You don't really use it in daily conversation unless your a comp anylas or programmer.   Anyway, I don't have a DISK DRIVE on my comp either because its a laptop and well......I had a choice between a CD/DVD drive and a disk drive and.....well.......the battery for this thing needs to go SOMEWHERE. :P (in case the cord unplugs by accident and such)

[P.S. CHECK OUT THE NEW ICON! :D]

Quote"I was a little worried thought when they came into my hut and told me to give them head"

:P Anyway, I finished. Just letting you know so you can sleep at night.

Alright, so I tried to give the anal retentive ladder pawn owner painter guy the blue paint and he freaked out and went to the shed to get it himself. I pushed the medium-sized rock infront of the door and then went to get the ladder. SOMEHOW, he managed to open the door and come back screaming at me, and this is the part that really boggles my mind. When I came back to the shed he was back inside with the rock still blocking the door. Now THATS a magic trick. Anyway, help on keeping him blocked inside?

Its not really that the lower legs are too short, its just that the upper legs are too long. Just raise the knees and it will work fine. Also, I agree about the left leg, I was actually thinking the word "bowlegged" too.  ;D Anyway, good luck.
#117
why is it so fuzzy-looking? :P I hope thats just how it appears and not how it will look in your game. Anywho....is that pillow on the bed an object or part of the backround. The reason I am asking, is that it doesn't really go well with the rest of the room. Its too intense, and the outline should be a softer grey, not black.
#118
BTW, is the icon under my name working? I can see it, but I'm just wondering if everyone else can..

Its retarded.  :( I hate stupid games like this one ( in essance, all Sierra games) where they hide somthing, making it compleatly impossible to find if you don't read the walkthroughs.  (I think the creators did it to appear smarter than the average player so when they couldn't figure out the puzzle they would think "Wow, I must not be very intelligent if I can't figure this out. This puzzle must just be too difficult for my small brain".) *smacks Serria upside the head*....anyway.....its located in the back of the plane. Let me load up a saved game...yes, uh huh. Well, its in opposite side of the bathroom with the occupancy light on, just click on the wall closest to you. I think you need to use somthing to pry it open. Anyway, I hope you have everything you need from the plane because once you open the door there is no going back. (Like, put on your parachute. :P) BTW, does anyone know where the damn barf bag is? You need it for the very last puzzle and I couldn't find it on the plane.

by half-kidding is that it was sort of meant to be funny, but I seriously need help and if someone wiser and smarter would mentor me, that would be spiffy.
