Proofreading problems, too, I guess? :P

I don't think I would have a problem with it, especially if I had done it before. I'm guessing it would get easier each time. But as I haven't been placed in such a situation, of course I can't really say for sure.

He-Man, could you please resize your bg (and add a link to the full version)?

EDIT: Yay for Andail.

Perhaps you should provide evidence that you're far enough along to require voices?

There's also this, which, incidentally, fits this theme as well.

Mozesh, what are you dragging me into this for? :P

Well, the Oregon Trail was not so much a route to Oregon as it was to the entire western frontier... I mean, yes, it ended in Oregon, but not everyone went the whole way. So, really, nothing was special about Oregon.

Did anyone ever make it to Oregon? I know I never did.

This is the best I could find via Google. I guess now that I look back on it it's not that similar, but it has the window, the arching staircase (which goes around a lot farther than is shown here), and the big thing on the left is the bottom of a chair with a desk/control panel connected to it (couldn't find a good picture of that, sorry). There's also some bookcases in the same room.

Aw. I was looking forward to another wonderful game of yours. :)

What if he's LYING?! :=

Does it intentionally echo the beginning of Myst IV?

Thanks for the comments and the paintovers -- they're really nice, although ProgZ's were a little too extreme for my purposes. :) (Are those flintlock pistols?)

Unfortunately, I feel like I haven't really learned much from them (except for the proportions; good god, my sense of proportion is apparently terrible -- the legs look so long to me!). I think it's perhaps just my own artistic ineptitude; I'm pretty much just winging it with these things and hoping something decent comes out.

In any case, here's an update on the girl. . . I haven't had time to get to the guy yet. I tried to clarify her pose, messed with the shading, and made some new hair based on ProgZ's because I really liked his. (I actually liked Johnny's longer hair, too, but it doesn't fit the character.)

I'm pretty happy with her now, but I didn't want to leave you guys hanging. ;)

I don't think he cares whether what he's saying is true or not as long as it will get him more attention.

The fact that the user who made the article is named Kinoko might give them a clue.
#277
Kinoko, are you aware this has a Wikipedia entry?

And the President of the ESA is Hitler, apparently.

Quote from: Jack ThompsonWhen Hitler invaded Russia, opening up an Eastern offensive on the eve of winter, Britain's Prime Minister Winston Churchill noted that 'Hitler must have been rather loosely educated, not having learned the lesson of Napoleon's autumn advance on Moscow.' Your Doug Lowenstein [President of the ESA] is similarly 'loosely educated' about the United States Constitution.

Isn't this that game stereotypically played by corporate managers, doctors, lawyers, etc?
