Nice to see Eric's template getting some use :P

Great work though.

For those stuck at the end:

Spoiler
Try to take a pearl, then talk to George in the treasure room.

(18 colors)

Just a SWAT with an M29 OICW. Not very creative, but I'm proud of the graphical quality... it's good for me, at least.

EDIT: Now with transparent background!

Wow:  :o

One thing, it's "connection" not "connexion". (Unless the x is a Brit spelling)

That can be taken sooo wrongly, given Boyd's... inclinations.

Hints & Tips / Re: Maniac Mansion Deluxe
Sun 27/06/2004 22:19:47
IIRC, in one of the later Space Quest games there's a small tank of gasoline which gives a message, "I think this belongs in another game." as a reference to Maniac Mansion's dastardly chainsaw.

Also, a hint on the key out of the dungeon:
Spoiler
It's the key located in the chandelier in the room to the right of the main entryway. Open the cabinet to find a cassete player. Now all you need is to find a blank tape and record a noise high enough to break the chandalier...

Is it possible to be a mental hypochondriac (i.e. think you have mental illnesses)? Well, of course, besides hypochdria, which is itself a mental illness...

dude, is it just meor are the front legs are bending the wrong way?

I know, I was confused at first as well, but that's how their front legs bend, in the same way that our arms bend opposite our legs (if you try walking on all fours) And you're right, I need to move his body and his head... forgot about that.  I have a photo profile of a polar bear behind everything in Moho, so I'm pretty sure it's anatomically correct.

Damien: It was originally meant to be a walking anim, but it ended up looking like he's running. The reason it returns to a standing position is that's where he starts, and in order for it to loop it must return to standing... which is why the legs are screwed up as YOke pointed out. I think I need to get rid of him starting at a stand, which would solve those problems.

I have had a lot of problem with vertices, or more correctly, with having to add them in order to get the lines to display correctly, which distorted the shapes somewhat. Now I see that was kind of pointless since when he moves the lines no longer cover the correct area anyway... you're right, I need to mess with Moho a lot more. Ah, well.

Thanks you guys. I'll get working on an update sometime in the next couple of hours. I can actually look at it now without my eyes burning, which is always a good sign.

Critics' Lounge / Polar Bear Walkcycle

I've been working on this walk cycle for an hour or two, and now my eyes hurt, and I can't tell what's wrong with it. Aside from the fact he's running in slow motion, of course. And the fact that he has no face or toes and the texture looks bad... that's just a placeholder until I can get the damn animation right. I think the legs really screwed up are the back left and front right. So... what do you think's wrong with it? Any suggestions on how to improve the animation (or maybe my chances of regaining sanity?)

Excuse me while I import a Moho logo into UT and blast the crap out of it. Don't get me wrong, I love the program, but... ARG! ARG! ARG ARG ARG ARG ARG! Goodbye.

Still doesn't work, weird. I wonder how many posts I can't see in other threads. *shudders*

In any case, since there are no more votes, Dragonrose wins.

Rocket launchers are actually recoilless rifles, so there shouldn't be any kick.
