QuoteYeah, the men of low moral fiber are definitely a flavor of those NPCs I'm talking about. They were just random characters you just swordfought.... You didn't really sit down and talk to them. They also walked around randomly in Melée Island.

What're you talking about?   Now, I haven't played MI 4, but I am pretty sure that you don't fight the Men of Low Moral fiber.  You DO talk to them, and they stay in the same spot throughout the first two Monkeys.   Now, If this is different in MI4, my mistake, but I think you got confused here.

I believe he's referring to the pirates you fight to learn insults in MI1, which looked basically like the characters labelled Men of Low Moral Fiber in MI1.

I think they're trying to imply it will not be a game where every other puzzle involves pushing around boxes.

Pleurghburg had random NPCs, as well as Keptosh.

As for the actual question... I can't recall any. There are a few missions in the Hitman games that you can't kill civillians... but you can still knock them out.

And the Indy one. Ford had to go to the toilet so he did that instead of a large fight scene.

LIAR! My explanation is the TRU7H! :P

In Minority Report, the statue of the precogs actually represents the alien genitals that were used to produce the precogs. And the Pre-Crime symbol reflects Steven Speilberg's belief in world peace through world government.

The monkey sequence at the start of '2001: a Space Odyssey' was filmed in London using one-way mirrors.

HAL's name was intended as a clever joke based on IBM.

Can you work out which is which?

Must be the former, since the latter is almost certainly incorrect. (though many people do believe it to be true, mistakenly)

Yeah, HAL is Heuristic Algorithmic...

In the original script of Raiders of the Lost Ark, the famous scene where Indy shoots the Cairo swordsman was much longer, and didn't involve Indy's gun. There was instead a large fight where Indy ducked and dodged the swordsman's cutlas until he was able to at last kill him. Unfortuntately, the week before the scene was supposed to be shot, Harrison Ford discovered the swordsman in bed with his new wife. Furious, Ford refused to shoot the scene or act with the man again. Eventually Speilberg and Lucas convinced him to do an abbreviated version of the scene, becoming the classic Indy fans all know today. The swordsman never acted again, though because this was from disgrace or because he disappeared the day after the scene was shot and was never seen again, will never be known for sure.

A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead are stranded on a deserted island. They find a magic lamp, which they rub to make a genie appear. The genie will give them each one wish. The brunette says, "I wish I were home with my family." -POOF!- She's back with her family. The redhead says, "I wish I were in the city." -POOF!- She's back in the city. The blonde looks around sadly and says, "I wish my friends were here."

A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead are stranded on a deserted island 20 miles offshore. With no other option, they decide to attempt to swim back. The brunette swims four miles, gets tired, and drowns. The redhead swims ten miles out, gets tired, and drowns. The blonde swims 18 miles out, decides she's tired, and swims all the way back.

How do you kill a blonde?
Stick a scratch-and-sniff sticker to the bottom of a pool.

How do you confuse a blonde?
Take her to the Oval Office and tell her to go sit in the corner.

I'm looking for a concept artist for a serious science-fiction/cyberpunk project currently in the pre-production phase. Specifically, I'm looking for someone who'd like to draw up some concepts of locations, ships, machinery, logos, etc. While the story is mostly set in concrete, much of the design is still up in the air. Though I'm looking for nothing too "cartoony" or unrealistic, you would have a lot of freedom in how you created your work and also a lot of input in the game. Or something like that. Whatever. I'm looking for a concept artist.

If you're interested, PM me or send me an e-mail at jsredwall[at]hotmail.com.

Most RPGs work like this, Knights of the Old Republic being a good example with "Dark Side / Light Side" points that change your character's fate.

Pick up SMALL STICK (user added item #1).
Use SMALL STICK with LARGE STICK. Sticks make FLAME.
Use SCISSORS on SHRUB to get DRY LEAVES (user added item #2).
Use DRY LEAVES on FLAME to make FIRE.
Use POT with DISENFECTANT SPRAY (user added item #3).
Use POT WITH DISENFECTANT on FIRE.
ACRID SMOKE rises from the POT WITH DISENFECTANT and eats away at the sealings of the WINDOW.
Push WINDOW.
Walk to WINDOW.
Pick up PRIZE.

Not sure about window sealings, but it might work.
Can we do more than one?

I think it'd be great if he bobbed his head/blinked while his mouth was moving rather than at the end.

I can't figure out how to get rid of the circus girl, which I assume will allow me to get the circus deed and get the kids. I have the wolf head, basket of goodies, fishing rod, and coloring book.

Yes, the bars rotate, but then it looks like that's it rotating without the tire moving.

I suppose I'll just fiddle with it until it looks decent.

They are on seperate layers...

My problem is that a round object rotating looks basically the same the whole time.
