Ã,  Ã,  Ã, i think it varies depending on monitors, ive already put it up once. Does anybody else have this problem with contrast?

I know it's a pain in the you-know-what, stupid monitors... For me, and I finally found an old monitor that seems just about perfect, the brightness is just fine - but the contrast could be increased a bit more.

Very nice image and stuff.

You should just have a pledge drive like PBS

Yes that's true because I want the Pluerphberg DVD, the Larry Vales vanity plate, and the Night of the Merhit wall clock, and I'll take the stupid $180 maximum value option to get ripped off for all the "free" extras!

It's the end of the school term and I'm flat broke... but in the summer I'll have lots of money and will be glad to register because Pumaman deserves it after all these years. It's only right that he should get paid for all his hard work.

2.6 SP1 of course. Export GUI. Import GUI. I get the message that GUI import is successful. Then, a second later, it just crashes. It does this every time.

We're sorry, the AGS editor has encountered a serious error...

Thanks for the clarification Gilbot. I think I agree with your idea of how it works, that's what makes more sense to me.

Anyway, you're right, you shouldn't really need to use it. But then again... well, never mind.

Thanks for the info! CJ, is there a way to make this function "export" the background properly? 'Twould be most helpful.
#67
When copying BG to clipboard, does it go into the clipboard as the original background file with all the colors, or does it lose colors / color depth / quality?
#68
LOL... nice one. I also like the "make my game" option ;D
#69
Nothin' doin', just droppin' in to say "Word."

But where did CJ go? Who is this Pumaman? ;)

LOL. Seriously though, looking forward to the new release. You still amaze me. That's all.

Neole, I'm looking for you! I sent you a message through these forums (your profile doesn't give email), but I didn't hear back from you. Anyone hear from Neole? Anyone have Neole's email?

DAVE GILBERT RULZ!

Actually, I listen to Matthew Good while programming. It's vindictive (in a hopeful sort of way) and that's helpful because programming can be a bitch.

Seems like you just aren't getting any bites.

I am just amazed by this guy's artwork over in the adventure gamers forums, he seems to be a great artist. Like all the great artists though, I don't know if he's interested in doing all the artwork for someone else's project! Go down the thread one-third to see his concepts link, then down another third to see his ruins link. And near the bottom is his new website, it's amazin', he's too damn good!

gee, uh, can't believe you guys are so confused.

scott is certainly not very forthcoming, seems to be a closet type guy these days. frans of spacequest.net emailed to him a bit, but then scott stopped emailing.  we made the wanted poster for fun, and posted it lots of places (space questy places in particular, but thought it'd be fun to spread the fun a bit further) and sent it to scott, in hopes that he'd come out and share some chat and maybe even some cool stuff with all the space quest fans.

still confused?

LOL, good one m0ds, very funny, haha

(just in case you missed it elsewhere)

As most of you know, I've been on vacation recently. Let me give you a word of advice: never trust a vacation-package sales agent who actually has enough fingers to count how many buckazoids he'll charge you for the slimy way he's about to rip you off. You see, I couldn't read the vacation-package waver form, because I had recently forgotten my glasses (an ancient Earth accessory for sight correction) on the dashboard of my timepod, which my estranged cousin stole... but that's another story. Anyway, the sales agent assured me that the space cruise destinations included such getaway hotspots as Estros, the famed Galaxy Galleria, and Risa. Needless to say, after signing away most of my life savings in buckazoids, I was shocked to find myself deposited on such inhospitable hellholes as Phleebhut, Polysorbate LX, and lastly, Kerona.

So there I was, sitting in a dingy bar in Ulence Flats, wearing my glasses (my disturbed cousin made a few mistakes while time travelling, and the glasses re-materialized in my pocket) and trying to read the indecipherably small fine-print on my copy of the vacation-package waver form, when a practically-mauled Keronian stumbled into the bar. I recoiled in shock as he focused a wild, furtive, desperate stare, and then his stumbling lurches, in my direction. Falling at my feet, he thrust a dirty pamphlet into my hand. As he breathed his last, he managed to choke out: "Run."

Only later, when watching the vidnews in the comfort of my own home (having narrowly escaped from Kerona after a vicious firefight), did I hear the story of how this Keronian had been pursued halfway across Kerona, fighting off hordes of hungry Grell, to find someone, anyone, who would take that pamphlet and make it known to the universe. So here it is - the portrait of a wanted man. It seems that the Galactic Port Authority is even more vindictive than the Gippazoid Novelty Company, and they don't want anyone, especially someone who might try to save this man, to get in their way.

For a larger version of this pamphlet, and more of the story behind it, visit SpaceQuest.net.
