That depends on your point of view.  This one could just as easily be considered a "who" rather than a "what" but really and truly that depends on your point of view.  It's not inanimate but it's not exactly personable either.
#242
Nope.  Even if you consider the gnomes to be the same, there was never a time where he was mostly bad or just mean.  Typically, he'd been helpful, if only a little rude.
#243
Nope.

Again, this is only something you can find in the King's Quest series of games.  Think of something that King Graham and Prince Alexander have run into but not Rosella and Valanice.

Well, I'm not ready for this thread to die just yet so here's an older riddle I made based on the King's Quest Series:

Three Times Have I Been Seen,
Once I was Helpful,
Once I was Mostly Bad,
Once I was Just Mean.
Never Seen by the Daughter or Mother,
But Twice I Have Been Seen by the Father,
And Once Have I Been Seen By the Son.

What am I?

Well, I'm not an amazing voice actor, but I'd be willing to give it a go.

It's already been solved.  It was just some dumb riddle by the Riddler in "Batman the Movie."  The answer was: A sparrow with a machine gun.

Mostly, it had been part of a two-part riddle: "What does a turkey do when it's upside down?"
Answer: It gobbles up.

So the question became, "What gobbles up a sparrow?"
Answer: Cat.

Meaning that there was Catwoman.

ThreeOhFour got it.  As I said, this wasn't my riddle just one I read in a book years ago.

As for his riddles: I can guess that the second one is "foul" or "fowl" depending on how you write the word, it can be offensive.

My last post was not a riddle, I just was trying to rekindle people's interest in this topic due to no one trying to answer the three.

If you want a "new" riddle, here's one that I got somehwere else but I don't know how popular it is:

Two fathers and two sons went fishing.  When they caught three fish, each one had a fish so they left happy.  Explain the situation.

Getting back to the topic...

I guess: the head.

QuoteThe worst thing about this riddle, and most riddles, is it's a play on words.

True, this is a play on words.  However, I don't think I'll ever find a riddle as bad as the 1970's Batman Riddler riddle:

"What weighs 5 oz, lives in a tree and is dangerous?"

Snarky got it!  He even has the right reasoning!  Congradulations!
#252
Yes, it's an American coin and it's a real American President.  However, the events of the trial are not real.  Like I said, the key to answering the whole question is to answer one and work off of that one.
#253
Close.  But not quite.  You also have to explain the reasoning.
#254
You're on the right track but you haven't fully answered it yet.

Well, I've sent you my version of the lines for Stephen, but I had to adlib a lot of it.  I don't even know what the characters are supposed to be doing at that moment so it's hard to get the right tonality to fit the mood.

Count me in if you'd like.

I've done "Potato Head Sweet Attack" and "Murder Most Gristly" directly from this site and I was a beta tester on the Remakes of King's Quests 1, 2, and 3 of AGDInteractive's work plus their Remake of Quest for Glory 2.

I have a lot of time on my hands that needs to be filled so let me know.

(Example: In the second screenshot, "Beware if you can't fly in air" is a sentence fragment.  Furthermore, if you're using a rhyme speaker the phrase she speaks doesn't make the cut.  While "beware" and "air" rhyme there is no rhyme in the phrase for either "so" or "far.")
#257
I'll help you with the beta testing.

I've already tested two games for another game maker ("Murder Most Gristly" and "Potato Head: Sweet Attack") on AGS and I was one of the testers for larger projects like AGDInteractive's remakes.  I'm willing to help.

Wonderful puzzle!  I have to say, I was stumped by it.

Okay, I've got a hard one that has three questions in one but if you manage to solve one, you could possibly solve the others.  There are clues in the answers.

When on trial, a certain American president was asked how he pleaded.
This president, rose and placed a single coin in front of the judge.
Taking up the coin the judge accepted the plea.

Who was the president?  What was the coin?  What was the plea?

And if you need them, here are two subtle hints which my keep you on track but don't reveal much of anything.

Spoiler
The coin could never make a good bribe.

Spoiler
The plea was an actual one, not a joke.

QuoteNot Puffin?

I've seen puffins in trees at the zoo.
#260
Yes, you got the animal for the trees thing.

"Albatross, Duck, or Goose" were all acceptable answers.
