Indeed you may have the neck for AGI art, even though some people think AGI is crap and is soo easy. I've mastered it in picedit and it was hard. Try to add a sky, and dont use to bright colours.

Looks like I'll really have to make a template for me to use to define the grass in all my backgrounds, wish me luck. <Grey hair springs out of head>

<I've made a lot of backgrounds, Im currently working on a japanese style one, when our hero travels there>

Let's hope you plan a James Bond fan game. Great music!  ;)

Ovid? Hey Devart buddy. I'm sure you can count on me for testing. It's about time you showed you're backgrounds.  ;) (Its night-wing/robin here btw.)

Is this a photo or 3D renders? Looks good.

Any of sharing some tips on backgrounds? You've done an amazing job.

It may look nicer if you use colour lines instaed of black. It looks very nice non-the-less.  ;)

Wow, one day I want to accomplish this level of artistic amazingness.  ;)

The only thing that bugs me is the shadow of the big rock or mountain side:

You notice the green bits are perfect, but the red bit is not really in perspective of the sun and other shadows.

I'll work on it. Thanks.

Expect another background soon.

Indeed, it looks very good. I always  pick up a tip or two reading tutorials.

And its that easy. ;)

Im a photoshop guru myself, all you do is make a new layer colour it in solid black or grey then fiddle with the transperancy setting and do 3 different shades.

Darth Mandarb> You a AGI fan? I also love those kind of graphics.

Reptile, a small debate arose, that happens sometimes. That way we can figure out what is wrong and right together.
I don't really see the point with your post, however.

this picture has improved much from the criticisms so far!

the mushrooms are all the same size.  they should be of varying sizes, and they should get larger in the foreground like the trees do

*flowers.  ;)

I have made them slightly smaller if you look closely. I think the flowers arent a issue really. I think the background looks perfect now.

Its nice, you should try and sketch out you're character, scane it and then draw over it, it makes it look better. Good job non-the-less.
#59
Very nice, I love those details.  ;)

Petteri> Add more shadows in the water and more shells around the place, some coconuts?  ;)
