Hi Peder.

Thanks for your offer to help rebuild my site and for the suggestion of using the free hosting.
However, All is well. I have just checked my site and all is up and running.

Thanks.
Jay.

Hi All.

Does any one here have a site hosted by InCreator?

The reason I ask this question is cos my site has vanished.

Is InCreator ok?
I haven't heard from him since he set my site up. (other than to tell me he had changed the address.)

I hope he is just having technical probs.
Can anyone let me know if he is well, Please ?

Yours.
Jay.

Thanks Guys.

I am stuck with a hideous machine cos Samsung screwed me, and is continuing to screw me. >:(
The funny thing is...
I have a 7 year old XP Fujitzu Siemens laptop and it does everything I want with no problems. ???

Think I'll continue to use that until it dies. :(

Goodnight Friends.
Jay.

Cheers Khris.

I see I have become the butt of many jokes.

I DO find them funny. (laugh)

However... Why has things only just stopped working?
#247
Thanks Jackie Chan. ;)

I... mostly... use FireFox.

Till today everything worked. Why not now?

Armageddon. I LOVE what you did, btw.
I wish I could do things that quick.

Hi All Good Peeps.

I need some help here.

I am using 32 bit Vista.

IE used to work fine until today.
Now none of the AGS user icons, within the forums, are animating. (Including my own.)

Mozilla FireFox works fine
What is going on and can anyone tell me why?

Many thanks.
Jay.

Hi Alan.

I am sure that it's always been broke.
Myself and other users even had the same issue with the original AGS 3.2.1.

Works fine now, though. ;-D
You are a genious.

Hi All.

I believe that Mr Ponch has won this one.
It is indeed Contact. A good film but an annoying one.

Go get em Ponch!

I have been away from this game for too long. :~(

I believe that it's "The Life Aquatic" with Bill Murray.

Sorry but I don't have a movie to show right now.
If you can't wait till tomorrow then let someone else post one.

See the confidence I have with my answer.  :-D

Hi Cerno.

Use: Walk(x,y,eNoBlock) instead.

If I am correct, the character will still walk to the door and leave the room.
However, by clicking somewhere else in the room it should stop that from happening.

I hope this is what you want.

Hi Alan v.Drake.

I love what you have done. However... One thing is bugging the hell out of me.

No matter how I try, I can't set the default volume of a sound file under its property pane.
I have tried 0-100 and the sound always plays at full volume.

Please help.

Yours.
Jay.

Hi Anian And Jen_78.

Thank you, both, for playing my game.

I am glad that you enjoyed certain elements of my game.

When I started creating it, with 2.72, I only had a very small idea as to where it was going. (A small story I wrote.)
I used this as my introduction to AGS, learning how things worked, as I have never tried anything like this before.
Basically, I made it up as I went along.

Getting feedback is great, good or bad, and I hope to use all of your opinions with part 2 "The Lost Prince Of Lorden - Can't See The Forest For The Trees".

Anian.
Spoiler
Yes you needed the moss or you wouldn't have completed the game... You may need it!!

I have no cups. No one has voted for my game, yet.
Please, if you liked it then HELP ME!! ;)

Yours.

Hi Khris.

No worries.
I'm glad we got there in the end. :)

Sound is working fine, now.

Thanks for all of your help.
Jay.

Hi again, Khris.

1. Yes. The game you uploaded worked. (I wish to hell that I could make my game work.)
2. Yes. That's right. Whenever I create my game it doesn't work.

I have taken a while getting back to you cos I just got back from my mates house.
He has many computers and my game does not work on them either, XP, Win7, Vista, Win8 and ones before. (He works all day with comps.)

Khris.
Are you using some sort of 'Plugin' or 'Module' or a Beta version of AGS 3.2.1, that I am not aware of?
I downloaded my version of 3.2.1 from the AGS tab on the AGS website.
When I hover my mouse over the downloaded file it says 3.2.1.0.

If you still can't help, I will admit defeat with this.

Thanks for your help, Khris.
Jay.

Hi Khris.

Tis me again. (I can already hear you groan.)

I have created a new test using 3.2.1 and the default template, on three different computers,
An XP machine, a Win7 machine and a Vista machine.

Surprise... Surprise the volume scaling on the footsteps or the panning doesn't work on any of them.
I have uploaded my new test, called 'Pixelated Little Pillock' for you to try, if you would be so kind.

Also, I started making this part of my game with 3.2.1. I didn't start it with 2.72.

Many Many Thanks.
Jay.
