Also I just found this.

And Then There Were None is a detective fiction novel by Agatha Christie,
first published in the United Kingdom by the Collins Crime Club on 6 November 1939
under the title 'Ten Little Niggers'. :o

Anyway. Now that we have, kind of, resolved that.

Does anyone know what film my shot is from?

You mean this film?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061075/

Why that's a total obscurity with no recognizable names apart for the original novel's author. What is so special about that cat scene that made you choose it?

If I am not mistaken the film that Arj0n showed is actualy the 1945 version which was called 'And Then There Were None'.
And Then There Were None is a 1945 film adaption of Agatha Christie's best-selling mystery novel And Then There Were None directed by René Clair.

Woo Hoo.
I hardly ever win anything. :)

Ok.
Lets see how long it takes for you all to get this.

I was just thinking (a dangerous pastime I know).

We should have dived down the shaft head first.

If there is large amounts of industrial machinery at the end and we get caught in it... Pain... Pain... and more pain before lights out.

But head first. Splash... Crunch... nano second of pain... lights out.

Just a thought.

I think I may know.

However. If I am correct it will take me a while to post another still of a film, cos I've never done it before.

Is it ''And Then There Were None''.

oh noes, this will empty the pool...

Maybe.
But I can't see any way forward in this darkness.

If I can only open this hatch... I will try... Or die trying. (It's all very dramatic, isn't it.)

Edit -
It's funny. This takes me back years. Me and my family used to draw, on a blackboard, rooms and walkways. (Before computers!)
The Dungeon Master, who wrote what happens in every room, knew the story but we had to roll a die to advance to each room.
The story would then be built on what rooms you entered and what you found (Inventory) and what you could use.

This is fantastic. It uses the same idea and makes it more interesting to everyone.

Great work.

I just can't help myself. I know it's all going to end in tears... But...

Hi all.

I just want to say that everyone on this forum is fantastic.

Khris, monkey, babar and many others have been fantastic.

I have had many problems that were, easy for them but, difficult for me. I do however put 'Khris' at the top of my list.
Some people find him... Abrassive... maybe. I find that he just doesn't suffer fools gladly.

He has helped me on many problems, within AGS, and taught me a number of ways to do things.
It all depends on the question and how you write your question.

Some people think that just because it's the web, You can talk to people how you feel. This is wrong.
Talk to people the way you would to their face.

In saying this. Read the F*****G manual and watch the Youtube Tutorials.
Jesus Christ. People piss me off. ;D

I'm afraid it's not possible, right?  :'(

Hi meese72.

I know exactly the effect you are after but I think your example vid doesn't show it that well.
What you are looking for is an effect like 'Tom and Jerry' when Tom gets hit over the head by Jerry. Am I right?
This effect used to happen, especialy, when Tom had his head hit with two cymbals.

I think maybe the effect you want IS possible... maybe.
However I don't know how to do it.

Sorry.
Jay

EDIT:
Just been thinking about this. Why not make a few extra full screen 'frames' and make an animation out of them?
When you need the effect animate it (eblock, true, once forward) until animation has finished.
In your 'paint' program take a copy of your main image and 'paste' it over your main image and off-set it slightly with less opacity and so on.
Use these as your animation.

Just a thought. :-\
You could get a fairly good effect that way... I think.

EDIT:
Maybe even. Make copys of your room frames and lower the opacity and off-set them slightly and put them in 'Animating backgrounds' of your room.
These are all thoughts, though, and none of them may work... Give it a try though. :)

EDIT AGAIN:
You have, REALY, got me thinking about this.
I am, almost, certain that someone created a 'drunk module' although I may be wrong. :-\
If they did then this might be helpfull... Or not.

Only trying to help.
Jay.

Hi MonkE3y.

Unfortunately.
Here in, not so, Great Britain.
you aren't who you say you are until you provide about 4 or more documents and then some.

This being said. I am within the Security Industry.
But I have been with many companies and NEVER has my Birth Certificate, size, come in to question.

I have a full SIA license and could even go in to business for myself as a PI if I wanted to (Oh... how I do).

Jay.

Hi All.

I hope you can help.

I went today for an interview for a job and they said that they require a full British Birth Certificate.
I only have a small squar-ish one to which they said was unacceptable.

Can anyone tell me. Is this a new stupid Law that's been introduced or are they just being awkward.

Many thanks.
Jay.
#398
Well... Bugger me sideways with a fish fork and bake me for quarter of an hour. :D

Khris has done it again. (can I marry your brain?)

I have tried searching and testing and pulling my hair out on how to do alpha channels.
It was so bloody simple. I use 'paint shop pro' and it works exactly the same.

Fantastic.

jon_swe.

Thank You for your help,

It does indeed seem that other people are having the same prob.
I find this rather odd though as my Brother and Friends of mine have no probs at all.
Maybe an update will fix this for me and other people later. :-\

Thank you for your help.

Hi jon_swe.

Thanks for the reply.

In Documents you have Music, Pictures and Videos. inside Videos I have a folder named My Videos this is where I put my vids.
Now in media library I checked the "include-thing" and the folder to My videos is already there.
However it still doesn't display any vids and still says that the library is empty. ???

I don't know. I am at a loss. :(
I had the same vids on XP and they all showed up in media library there.
I know it's not a huge prob but all my pics and music show up fine. it's just bloody vids that are missing from library.

Many thanks.
Jay.
