Hi, Mandle.

We are so happy that you are enjoying playing our game.
HAHAHA!! (laugh) You will beat the "GameJoy" minigame. Once you get a feeling for the map it becomes easier.
There are many more challenges to be had throughout the game so... Brace yourself. (laugh)

Yours.
Jay and Vincent.

Hi, Jack.
We are so happy that you like the look of our game.
We hope you will enjoy playing.
At the moment we have no plans for a Linux version, but never say never. (laugh)
Unfortunately we would need to do a lot of testing, etc, and we don't have a Linux machine to do this.

Yours.
Jay and Vincent.

Hi, Stupot.

Thank you for your very kind words.
Vincent was sooooo happy to get our game out on his Birthday. :-D
I also wanted to do this, for this date.

I have made a slight cock up with our description. :-[
For anyone who has already downloaded our game... The control section in the "Readme" or here should read like this...

Controls:
------------------
Keyboard or Game-pad.
Game-Pad controls are "re-definable" within the game menu.
Keyboard controls, unfortunately, are not "re-definable".
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone who has downloaded our game from this point... Everything should be correct... I hope.
I have already messaged Vincent with this error. Hopefully he can correct the error at the top of this page, oggi.
(It's amazing how fluent in Italian I have become.) (laugh)

I am so sorry for this error. :-[ :-[ :-[

I hope you will enjoy playing our game.

P.s.
I know I wished you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY, in ritardo ieri... Or, presto oggi. (Whatever time it was we went to bed.)  (laugh)
But... Happy Birthday, again, Vincent, mio carissimo amico mio. (You can correct me on my Italian later.) HAHAHA! :-D

Yours.
Jay.

Hi, AnasAbdin.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Father.
I read your blog and ended up weeping all over my keyboard.
I still live with my Parents and tell them daily how much I love them.
I am sure that your Father knew how much you loved and cared for him.

Best wishes.
Jay.

Hi, Retro Wolf.

Long time, no hear. (laugh)
Glad that you think our game looks interesting. :-D
We have tried to implement about four different genres into one game, so we have Adventure, Rpg, Puzzle Solving and arcade. (laugh)
As for the tilling system... There wasn't one. (laugh) I just drew each room as you see them but all the rooms in our world do connect perfectly.
I hope you will enjoy playing "Tales of Jayvin" when it is released. (Not much longer now... I hope.) :-D

Your.
Jay and Vincent.

Hi, BarbWire.

Sorry that I didn't reply to you yesterday. I don't know what I was doing.  :(
I replied to "Mouth for war" and totally forgot to reply to you... Don't ask me why because I don't know. (roll)
Thank you, ever so much, for your lovely comment. HAHAHA!... I love the "Bill and Ted-ism".  (laugh)
So happy to hear that you enjoyed testing our game. I must say that we were lucky to have such a great tester, as you.
Your bug reports and the strange things you noticed really helped in making our game even better.
I am so happy that you liked it enough to want to play the completed version.

Thank you for your help, it is most appreciated.

Yours.
Jay and Vincent.

Ah... Yes. Of course. This game does NOT use a verb coin interface. (laugh)

Great to hear about the update. I am downloading now. (nod)

Edit: This is really very good. I just did something that for some strange reason I didn't even think of last night and managed to get a little further. (laugh)

Hi, there, Mouth for war. :-D

Thanks, Buddy.
It's nice to see that someone has noticed our game. It seems to have been bypassed by most AGS'ers. :(
I hope that you will enjoy playing it. Not much longer now, just a little more testing.

Yours.
Jay and Vincent.

Hi, Fanomatic.

Some points I would like to make.

1: I just have to say, WOW!! :-D
2: Had no problem downloading.
3: I LOVE what I have seen, so far.
4: I LOVE the story, The graphics, the animations, the verb coin interface and the entirety of it all. I can't believe that this is your first game. 8-0
5: I am sorry to use the word "Love" so much but... Hell. I "Love" how this is looking and playing. :-D

I hope to see more updates and hopefully... The full game, soon. ;-D

Hi, all good peeps.
I really hope that you will all enjoy playing our game.
The expected completion date seems to be realistic as now we are nearing the end of testing.
An exact date should be very soon, all being well.

Yours.
Jay and Vincent.

Thanks for the reply, Snarky.
I thought this may be the case.

Hi, All good Peeps.

Yes 'tis I RetroJay. :-D
I am still lurking around here. (laugh)

Currently working on a game with another AGS'er at the moment.
I am making some sound effects and suddenly had a thought that I've never thought before...

Say I have a view of 10 frames. I make a sound effect and link it with the first frame. On my computer that sound lasts for the 10 frames perfectly.
Now... Will that still be so for someone who is playing on a slow machine, where the game runs noticeably slower?
Or... Will the sound end before the animation?

Thanks.
Jay.

Hi, Alan.
This is a little late... or not... but Happy New Year to you too.
I can't believe that I missed this new version.
I was just browsing through today and thought... WHAT THE HELL !! (wtf)

Thanks, Alan.
I LOVE your Draconian version so much and have already downloaded.
On a side note. I really wouldn't worry about the Linux thingamajigs.(laugh)
Never used Linux nor do I ever intend to use Linux. I make games for Windows.(nod)

Hi there arj0n.:)

Great to hear from you.
Thanks for the reply. I did wonder if it was caching or something like this.
The funny thing is I have ccleaner and it cleans all the other crap from Temp but leaves the thumbnails behind... Weird.(roll)
However... Using the Windows 10 tool for cleaning Temp folder works like a charm for me but have read that it doesn't work for other people.

Oh well... I am glad that it isn't only me who finds these thumbnails there. I was doing a lot of research and not finding anything and started to wonder if it was only me.(laugh)

Ah... The project is going well, thanks.(nod)
I think I can say we are at about 80 percent done now. Still a lot of work to do though.
Keep an eye out in the GIP thread because I think soon-ish we will post our game and progress there.(laugh)

Yours.
Jay.

Hi all good peeps.

For those of you who know me... I am still around just working hard on a game with another AGS'er.(laugh)

Okay... Just to be clear I am using Windows 10. And... I should say that my Main Browser is Google Chrome.
I want to ask a question that I have been trying to find a solution to.
Recently I looked inside my "C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Temp" folder (With show hidden items checked)
and found hundreds of thumbnails of youtube videos I have watched.
Why?... What use are they there for, except taking up space.???

I cunningly thought to myself "I will try watching youtube videos in 'Incognito' mode and see if that stops the thumbnails from appearing".
This has no effect... The thumbnails still appear.

It is easy to clear them and of no real nuisance but... Why are they there at all?

Yours.
Jay.

Edit: Just found that it isn't only youtube videos... Videos that I look at in general (Videos that friends send me) are also being 'Thumbnailed' in my temp folder too... WHY? (laugh)(laugh)(laugh)
Every time I click on a video (on line) it makes a thumbnail in my temp folder. ?????????

Hi RetroLee.

Thank you ever so much for your Birthday greetings.
I had a great day thank you. Another year older and a little bit balder and I am sure another chin is appearing.(laugh)

When God was handing out chins, I thought he said Gins and said "Make mine a double."(laugh)(laugh)(laugh)
