This is incredibly sad. As many others have said, I didn't know him personally, but his presence on the forum will be missed.

He's going way too carefully for it to be Takeshi's Castle. He should run at it like a maniac and fall face first into the water.

There are some really great ideas, here! A lot of them have potential, but one in particular caught my eye and kept drawing me back, so that's the one I voted for.

You might not need one; I'm pretty sure that's The Goodies. Which I've never actually seen an episode of but I've seen clips on various other shows.

Concept: selmiak - looking outwards from the back alley, rather than into it, is an interesting idea and the mistiness adds an air of mystery to the place.
Playability: lorenzo - plenty of walkable area and lots of doorways to explore!
Artistic Execution: Blondbraid - great atmosphere, I get the feeling that the place would be bustling during the day, but is quite gloomy when it gets dark.

I just got around to playing the entries. Great work, both of you! Slasher, your game has a great concept and the puzzles are good. I like how the characters all end up helping each other out in the end. Funkpanzer, the artwork and animations in your game are great, and the story seems interesting. It would have been great to have been able to play a bit more!
