Yeah, that's similar to what I was thinking. There could be both a psychic and a doctor, but I would think it's more likely that there's only one of them with so few players. So one murderer, one doctor or psychic, and three normals.

Not that it makes much difference at this stage. There's no way of knowing who to trust yet and I'm not about to go trusting just anyone. Not this time, anyway. :P

Happy Birthday, Kastchey! I hope you have a great day! ;-D (And that you've finally recovered from the last werewolf game! :P)

Hang on, are we just sitting 'ere waiting for the murderer to confess? 'Cause that don't seem likely. And who's to say there ain't more than one of 'em? I mean, I'm a clever gal, I know it ain't likely given there's so few of us, but you never know, right?
#45
No more players? :(
#46
Oh, spies could be good. The traitor role would fit well with a theme like that.
#47
Count me in again! ;-D

I like the sound of a secret round. I hope there'll be enough players to do that. As for the setting, maybe something like a Jack-the-Ripper-esque Victorian London?

I'm trying to get my head around the traitor role. So, the traitor is on the Evil team, but is actually playing for the good side without anyone else knowing? Is that right?

Happy Birthday, Stupot! I hope you have a great day! :-D

That's true. I didn't think about what would happen if the psychic is lynched. :-\

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MANDLE! I hope you have a great day! :-D

I forgot to say thanks to Sinitrena for hosting the round. The theme was good, and I think it helped to build the tension, so thanks for that! ;-D

Quote from: Sinitrena on Sat 04/05/2019 17:10:48Did I limit the powers of the Doctor too much, by not even revealing that someone (without telling you who) was protected and instead left the possibility that the murderers just choose to not kill anyone?
I think you gave the right amount of information about the doctor. It feels to me like it would be a bit too "cheaty" to know that the doctor had protected someone.

Quote from: Sinitrena on Sat 04/05/2019 17:10:48When the Psychic is killed during the night, should the results of this scan be allowed to be included in the Last Words?
I think this should be allowed. The Last Words are really only relevant to the psychic anyway, the rest of us would just basically say "good luck!" to the rest of our team. Perhaps the psychic could scan during the day? So they send you the name of who they want to scan by the end of the day phase and you send them the information about that person when the night phase begins. Then they can do whatever they like with that information, and if they are killed it can be revealed in their Last Words. Would that work, or would it ruin the flow of the game?

Quote from: josiah1221 on Sat 04/05/2019 22:07:50On a positive note I chose to protect Riaise on night 2, just in case by some miracle I didn't get killed. So I at least made one right decision even if it didn't come to fruition.  (laugh)
Aww, thanks! :-*

I was thinking about future scenarios and I thought it could be fun to do one where we turn the roles on their head, so the "good" team are actually bad and the "scum" are actually good. Something like the "town" are a criminal gang, and the "scum" are undercover police officers who have infiltrated the gang. The "doctor" could be a bodyguard of sorts and the "psychic" could be a hacker, or something along those lines, who can look up people's files. The "deaths" could be a player's home being raided and them being taken to jail, while lynchings would stay pretty much the same. It could make for an interesting change in the way the game is played.

OH MY GOD, I'm bloody useless at this game. That's twice I've stuffed it up, now. (roll)

Sorry Mandle, and VW, I had it RIGHT THERE and I couldn't see it. I genuinely didn't suspect Kastchey, though. You played that perfectly. Well done to you and PP. That was a really good game. :)

Okay, I'm leaving my vote as it is. My brain is too fuddled to do anything else right now. :-\
#54
And I need to go and make dinner in a minute, so I need to make a decision now. Will someone please post something incriminating? :-*
#55
Well, it doesn't prove anything now. Whoever the second scum is will go with whatever the majority looks like to make themselves look innocent tomorrow.

THIS IS ALL HINGING ON ME AND I DON'T LIKE IT. SOMEONE HELP.
#56
To be fair, I hadn't voted in the first place and so didn't switch anything. :P

But now I'm wondering. If Mandle is scum, then PP clearly isn't. Which means that either Kastchey or VW is. If it's VW then why, when I am clearly wavering here, is he sticking to his original vote and throwing Mandle under the bus? He could have easily changed his vote by now to convince me to change mine. So that leaves Kastchey as scum. But why would Kastchey bother getting in touch with me in the first place when the vote was already going their way?

The only conclusion I can come to now is that Mandle isn't scum. And given VW's reluctance to switch his vote back, I'd have to guess that he is, along with PP.

What does everyone else have to say about this theory?
#57
If VampireWombat isn't going to change his vote, then changing mine won't make a difference anyway.
#58
I thought I'd figured it all out earlier, and now I'm unsure again. This game really gets inside my head.
#59
For me, the main inconsistency is why you decided to trust Kastchey with the information after you accused him of being a shapeshifter. Where did your doubts about him go? Why didn't you trust me or VW with the information instead? It doesn't make sense to me that you'd choose to share this information with someone you'd previously suspected.
#60
Well, Tim, as much as I've enjoyed your company the snoring and farting has to stop.

Vote to lynch: Mandle

(And I'd like to apologise to everyone if I'm wrong. There's a possibility that Kastchey is a shapeshifter, or that Mandle is telling the truth and it's PP and VW who are the shapeshifters, but from what I can see all the evidence points to Mandle. So that's what I'm going with.)
