This is difficult, all the entries are really amazing, but my vote goes to CaesarCub.

I agree with Stupot, I'm having a really tough time deciding which game to vote for. I think I'll have to play them both a bit more before I can decide.

I'd say that as long as there is some sort of visual representation, rather than just stating "this character has changed!", then it should be fine. Even just a change in facial expression should be enough.
