General Discussion / Re:I love stupid people!

Kinoko, you mean this one?

NEIL: "Hey Rick, man, what are you doing with my cruicifix, man?"
RICK: "I'm protesting!"
NEIL: "Yeah, but I really think I should lay this one on you, man, that's a really negative way to kill yourself, you know, like, I've tried it, hundreds of times. There's no way you can hammer in the last nail."

Actually, I think it's from "Demolition", but it doesn't matter... :) Great show anyway...

General Discussion / Re:What do YOU hate...?

Well, I'm usually not the kind of person who posts or writes down the things I hate, but meh, I might as well do it now and get it over with...

- Racists/Nazis/Fascists/Extreme Religious Fanatics, narrow-minded people in general, etc...
- People who desecrate books in libraries. (Spitting in books, ripping them apart...)
- Commercial popbands put together by a record company for the single purpose of making money.
- The poor individuals in our class at school who can't see the humour in watching The Young Ones.
- Ending an otherwise really good day with something, really, really bad.
- The seemingly endless heaps of Spam Mails that come every day.

Critics' Lounge / Re:Glass ?

It looks nice, but as Andail said, there's too much ceiling in the last one - It just takes up a lot of space.  Also, shouldn't the computer screen be turned in the other direction, or am I being horribly stupid here?

Otherwise I don't know what to say, since I'm not very good at doing glass either, but I do know that the KISS-poster kicks ass... :)
You got both the logo and Ace himself spot on... (Might wanna work on the Les Paul a bit, though... Hehe...)

Very good on the whole, though. You're off to a good start.

I hadn't played this one before, but I downloaded it and liked it very much... Aah, I love finding old games that are new to yourself... Yummy...

Christ, Petteri, that was quick... ;)  Yeah, it's me.

Ok, here we go... For those who can't see it right away, I'll just inform you that it is the Incan temple of Apu Inti (Lord of The Sun). And no, I'm not making that up, it's a real Incan myth...

Ok, not Bruised Weasel, then... Sorry about that.
Hm... Well, what about Butcher?

Martin Van Buren Jr. = Bruised Weasel or Helm?

Critics' Lounge / Re:background : graveyard

It looks quite nice, prowler - There are some things, though:

- As you already pointed out yourself, the perspective and the colours of the graves could use some changes.
- I would also try to get rid of that weird little "flash" thingy in the sky. (A lightning bolt?)
- The grass looks a bit "runny" and very painted on. Towards the bottom of the picture it almost looks as if it's going to start drip down the screen and out on my desk... I would suggest trying to define the single straws of grass more.

And also, a tip as a fellow freewebs-user: You can rename your picture file to a ".txt" before you upload it, and just do an [img] tag as usual.

Lazy? Work? Connection? Meh, admit it, man - You ARE doing it entirely on your own, you just don't want to tell me... ;)

I don't know if I told you either, but you can reach me on msn, finally - If you need to quickly exchange ideas and similar. Same as my e-mail.

I think it looks really good in template 7, although I agree with Layabout - The gap under the "about"-section get on my nerves as well. Having all three sections equally long would be nicer, methinks.

Dragonrose/Gilbert:
Well, yes, I've heard of .zip files, and I did compress it, but since it didn't do much difference, I didn't bother.
And freewebs is terribly slow, I know that as well... But it's the only webspace i have for the moment... Sorry...
Hope you enjoy it anyway!

Ahem...
(Quite big, so be careful before downloading...)

Ok, I got a sinister urge to make a contribution to the AGS shows and did this thingie...
Featuring butter-wrestling, music, DG, and sith lords... :)
Hopefully noone will be offended...

Heyhey, an update, at last! Too bad to see it was one about firing team members...
Nice of you to keep me, though, Snake - It was a long time since I got any LE-stuff, so I'll be more than eager to get back into plotting and helping with the story again. Just send me a mail and I'll be answering...

Yes...
...Let's make some magyck!
I'll just go and find Featherdusters Tome of Dragon Enchantment, and then we're off... ;)

General Discussion / Re:AGS Opera 2004

Well, I hate to be the one who follows the hype, but I couldn't help myself...
A very short, very badly performed and badly recorded piece about the upcoming Mittens 2004 - "Too Young for Mittens"... (914 kb)

Observe: Use "save target as...", otherwise it won't work...
Very sorry about the crappy .wav-quality as well - I've got to get a better recording program, I know...

Ooh, I've got some new favourites...

Sleep - Dopesmoker (Most probably the longest song ever... 64 minutes... Guess what it's about...)
Iggy Pop - Wild America

Harhar, that was great...
I have to admit I like your "Helm"-song better, though... I laughed my arse of when I heard that one...

"He'll slit your throat and watch you bleed, he won't draw a background for you or me..." ;)
#359
Since Snake hasn't been very visible here for a while, I'll take on his role and say this:
Hardily Hoodliy Hoo!! W00t!

Downloading now... I can't wait to get my icky little hands on it... :)

Aye, well, consider my vote changed to Darths new one as well - Didn't notice it until now.
I do agree with remixor, I would feel more welcome with that one than Klaus'. And with the added "news"-section it's as good as it can get, in my opinion.
