Messages - Rincewind

Argh, it fells bad not being able to attend, especially as it is in my home country - But all I can do is to wish that you all have a great Mittens and a good time!

Maybe I'll turn up next year instead. ;)
#602
Hm, yeah - That might be a good idea. I've never been good at wire ones, but I'll give it a try... ;D
#603
Oh, shite... Now there's a tie again. Drat.
But since the score before the tie was in favor of Necro, I'd say he is the winner. Right?

OTG, time to lock?
#604
Heh, thanks!
Well, it's mostly finished, but you know how it is, you suddenly think of something, and think "I have to add that!"... ;)
I was mainly thinking about making the desk messier, but I might add some foreground stuff as well...
#605
Well, at first, I couldn't think of anything at all, but then I came up with this:

Trap:
That's really cool! It goes round and round... Roound and roound... ;D
#606
Well, here's another minor update:

This one I'm quite pleased with actually - The plant and the hatstand fitted better than I thought. Not quite finished yet, though... I might add some more things on the desk.
The waste basket is a bit concering, though - Is the grey to bright compared to the rest of the room?

Ah, nice bg - The whole b&w/sketchy look gives a rather sad touch to the picture. Perfect for a more "artistic" game, or whatever you want to call it... I like it.

(And a bit off-topic, sorry: Undergroundling, have you recieved my Instant Message? I'm ready to start doing the backgrounds.)
#608
Well, I never really thought as far as setting a deadline for voting... Heh.
The deadline for submitting was all that I remembered...
Let's say that today is the last chance for casting your vote, and then we'll pass it on to whoever wins? What do you think?
#609
Oil paint? That's sounds really cool. I have a feeling that your game will be quite good... ;D Looking forward to some more screens.

Ratracer:
I tried doing a water machine, but as I said, I never got it to look good enough.
But thanks a lot for all the suggestions! I'll see if I'll include some of them.
(There's already a blue cup and some coffee stains there, though... ;D )
#611
Was it 4-4? Well, you know - me and math... Heh. ;D
"Hey stoopid"...
#612
Hehe, a potted plant is a nice idea, noed. I might take you up on that.
I could use it as a foreground silouette, if nothing else... ;D
And I think the cash register lookslike it's about to fall off because its edges are so close to the edges of the counter. I'll try to fix it.
Thanks for commenting!

Well, if I've counted the votes right, you win, Evil - Five votes to you, and four for Necro. A real close call.
But a big thanks to all of you who participated - Great backgrounds, ya'll... ;D

Now come up with a good theme, so I can join in on the next one... Hehe...

Well, to be honest, the only "newer" band that I actually find to be really good is Queens Of The Stone Age.
Josh Homme's delicate, almost whispering voice alongside his innovative and deadly riffs make a combination that at least I can't resist... Different than Kyuss, but absolutely not worse.
I'm not sure if "No One Knows" is from 2002 or 2003, though...  (Bad memory... Ack)
Ah, what the heck, I say that's the best song of the year anyway.
#615
Yeah, I certainly would. It's a nice, colourful style.
The second one is definately my favourite.
#616
Well, it's true! I'm not joking here, it looked seriously messed up.

I'll keep on working on these two backgrounds quite a bit, since they are locations you will visit quite often, which means I want them to look as good as possible...
I've also been working on a map screen, which I will post later.
So just get ready... Hehe.

(And I'll send you my new ideas soon, too - It just took me a while for it to sink in... :) )

 D · Y · D · O:
Yeah, I see that now. I'll try changing them...

Czar:
Ooh, I don't know - This is how I imagined it, and I like the way it looks now, so I don't think I will try and rearrange the room totally.
But thanks for the tips anyway.

Dr. Awesome:
Hey, that's great! I'll try and correct the perspective according to those lines.  Thanks a lot!

Neole:
Hehe, thanks... ;D

Allright - I'm pleased with the bullentin board and the pictures, but the filing cabinet is wierd, I know. I was thinking of a clotheshanger somewhere in the office too, but I don't know where to place it...
Any tips are welcome.

Allright - Do a really fat wizard! Hehe.

Well, there was more entries than I expected, but I suppose that it's time for voting - Right y'all?

I'm having a real hard time choosing between all these great entries, but in the end, it's between Necro, noed or evil. But I think my vote falls on evil... It has a good perspective and a bit of a CMI-style that I like very much.
