Critics' Lounge / Re:Quest for a title

Love the GK-like plot and the moody graphics! Looks like this is going to be a killer game! ;D

Ok, now to the suggestions:
I think that "Sunset By Night" and "Shadowplay" is really good titles, but perhaps changing the first to "Sunset By Midnight" could make it better?
"Shadowplay" makes me think about "Shadowrun", btw...
Otherwise you can take one of my old names for a unfinished game - "A Moonlit Night Of Silence"...
And personally don't think that the title has to be connected to the theme or the plot, but it of course helps if it is...
As another last suggestion is "Pictures Of Eternity", but that's all I can think of right now...

Good luck with the game!

Latest Edit: Updated the progress of the game, and also added a request for musical composers.

I'm going for the chef, without a doubt... (Just an excuse to draw an bloody apron...) ;D

Hm, this sounds like a very interesting game. The plot is definately interesting, and the graphics looks great.
Hurry, hurry! ;D

Ok, I've been working on my game "Joey The Rocker - A Dirty Game Done Dirt Cheap" for a while now, and seeing as it's getting close to finished, I thought I'd ask if there are any people out there willing to compose music for the game?
IM me or mail me if you are talented and willing to help... ;D

Mr_Frisby:
Thanks! Yeah, it's a bit influenced by Calsoon, I have to admit that. I was just not too satisfied with the house itself - Can't put my finger on what, but it looks stupid...
Oh well.

Boyd:
Dig the tombstones and the moon, man! ;D Nice.

Here goes... This is Gabriel Knight as bear(Or a bear-like creature, anyway...) - Carrying his shattenjäger dagger and his talisman.

Ok, all these great pictures will make mine fade in comparison... It's just a little thing I whipped up - And definately NOT a winner... ;D

Laserschwert: (That means "Lasersword", right?)
Incredible! Amazing!
I think those two words describe your colouring pretty much... ;D
Welcome, indeed!

General Discussion / Re:what's your nickname?
Sun 27/04/2003 21:45:26
Well, all of you familiar with The Discworld Games or the wonderful books by Terry Pratchett, will know where my nickname comes from.
But for the others, I'll just say it's the name of the worst wizard ever, who rather runs a way than casts a spell, and who can shout for mercy in 19 languages, and just shout in another 44. Only the fact that he has a beard and that he wears a dress makes him worthy of the title.

I usually use the nicknames "WickedWorld" or "Supertzar" though, after the Black Sabbath-songs, but I felt I wanted someting different this time, so Rincewind was.

Looks nice and very smooth! ;D But some more effects could be added to enhance the looks of it. (The chamber sliding back, like Darth-Mandarb said, and other things.)

Well... All of them really, but especially:
Pleurghburg - The Asylum,
Pirate Fry 2,
FoY,
Waldo,
By The Sword,
Punk Quest,
All of Snakes in-production games,
Byzantine,
and Larry Vales 3.

Yes, OTG has got what I was referring to there. Try and follow those guidelines and it'll look better. ;D

Yes, something like that. If you could upload it again as a .jpg and post it, I could show you what I meant more exactly.

Okely-dokely-doo. I'll be waiting patiently for the release! ;D

Well, you've probably got enough of them now, but if there's room for one more, I'd love to be a beta tester... ;D
Looks incredible!

You're welcome, Mats! ;D
I usually have problems drawing shoes from the front too, but this time it went really good.
And as for her age, I had no idea she was supposed to be in her 20's, so I sort of though of her as an teenager... Oops. ::)
