General Discussion / Hostel
Sat 14/01/2006 07:06:17
I just saw the movie Hostel, and like most new horror movies it involves college kids going somewhere they probably shouldn't.  In this movie, some kids go to a country I won't name to get some action.  Things go better than planned and before you know it the helpless kids are getting tortured by masked assailants.  The plot isn't anything new to me but the gore was substantially better than anything I've seen in the past decade.   I  went to see this with a few teenage friends of mine, for what reasons I will not name >:( but in general I had a pretty good time watching this movie but it wasn't anyting new or exciting.  I give it a 7.5 out of 10.

I had a good reputation there, so they believed me when I told them that it definately was on accident.  All they did was have my assistant manager escort my out of the store.  I guess I was lucky.

Hell, almost every week they would ask me to go over them and help them since they were pretty much always understaffed.  I'd go over, help them and get not thank you.  No, "Hey thanks for giving us a much needed hand!"  No, they never said anything.  I was over at all the neighbooring departments: bakery, meat, produce.  But, they still fired me with no care.  I was a just a goddamned pizza roll, for christ sakes.  I should have read that little sign on the bathroom wall: All shoplifters will be prosecuted to the maximun extend of the law.  Well, at least I'm not getting sued, just fired.  At least my old boss is willing to take me back.  THAT, I'm grateful for.

I put a year of my life into this damn company and this is how I go out.  Busted for not paying for a piece of food.  Although this doesn't really affect my financial situation it still is hard, mentally, to get over.  I got close to most of the people there and I enjoyed the experience; it was one of my better jobs.  I had some good people working for me and this is how I go out.  I just wish that there was something I could do to reverse this, but it's over.  I'll just have to move on.

General Discussion / I was just fired.

I work at a local Wal-Mart, and today I was just fired.  My manager called me to the manager's office and said she wanted to go over the new schedule with me.  A co-manager was there with her that wanted to talk to me.  She told me that they suspected that employees may be stealing products from the store.  Now, that day I had bought some food to eat from the deli.  I went to go pay for it on the register that my friend worked at.  He told me that he couldn't ring in my products.  So, I talked to him for a little.  I forget that I hadn't paid for it; it happens, you know?  I go to the break room to eat my food, but they are having a meeting.  So, I eat my food in the bathroom.  I finish eating my food in the stall, but forget to throw out the bag that I got the food in.  Later that night, like I said before, my manger called me to the office and the co-manager said I was being fired for stealing.  Goshdarn, they are pretty friggin' strict these days.  I told them I'd pay for whatever it was that I forget to pay for.  They said, "No, it doesn't work that way."  So, I'm unemployed, I'm drunk and feeling sorry for myself and I don't know what to do.  On the form confirms my unemployment, it says and I quote, "Fired for stealing a pizza stick."  They are pretty much a pizza hotpocket that the deli cooks up and serves.  Let this be a lesson to you: don't steal from the company you work from.  Although I didn't intentionally steal it, I got fired nonetheless.  Have a nice day.

I guess I had better start coating my house with lead paint or something, huh?

I believe that in ten years I can finally make my penis long enough to stop all that spam mail.

Why is it called statutory rape when the not-of-age person in question consents to the act?Ã,  Rape would be without consent, wouldn't it?

Didn't they used to kill cheaters and put up an embarrassing statue of them on the walkway to whatever stadium-type place they were held in?  If not, they should have.

Whether it sucks or not I'm going to see it, and knowing me, I'm going to enjoy it.

I know a guy who has what they call a "Prince Albert".Ã,  Sometimes I would hover one of those big magnets about a foot away from his crotch.Ã,  You should hear him scream when that thing clings to his zipper.

Hotspot has informed me that it was, in fact, a Prince Albert and not a Prince Charles like I had originally thought.Ã,  This way exactly 27 seconds after I had posted this.Ã,  Not only did I not know the correct term, but I missed Evil having said it.Ã,  Jeez.

I don't know Greek, but it seems like Helm said something to Spyros that made him confused or something similiar to that.

Spyros, the sample song sounded good.  I'll buy the CD as soon as possible.  Good stuff.

It has been said that the English language is the most difficult to master, especially if you were not born speaking the language or if you are an American.

General Discussion / Re: Going to camp!
Tue 29/06/2004 06:49:42
Funny, I'd welcome the absence of computers for an indetermined amount of time, and you people would crumble without them.Ã,  I just went camping this weekend at our seasonal trailer in Northern New Hampshire and I loved every minute of it.Ã,  No computers, no television, no DVDs.Ã,  All I had was my wife, my kid, a boat, a radio, a grill and our fellow campers.Ã,  That is all one needs to have fun.Ã,  If I could retire there now, I'd do it, but I can't.
